This is newsworthy as the weather forecasts. I can hardly contain my excitement. What's next? A mandate to wear the early 80's shorts that Kurt used to don during his playing days?

Bring the winning formula from the Lakers!

As long as Phil Jackson gave his backing, I'm sure there has to be a lot of good that comes with this coach signing. This roster is still really ugly though. That Rubio pick needs to be traded away for a 7-footer to play center. Ryan Hollins is not a starting center.

Oh Danny Boy--- calm down. It'll be ok. We're headed in the right direction. Kahn is showing he has a vision for this team. Something that was lacking in the past. I love what he is doing! We've got some concerted action! Calm...!

If we had a core of good seasoned players, we could get the young guys working hard and playing the right way. Too many other teams have added unheralded young talent to their rosters and gotten meaningful production out of them. That's on the GM for scouting and the coach for working with the talent he has. I expect both will improve with McFail out of the equation, and a coach who is accustomed to winning ways in both his coaching and playing days.

Wonder if he signed a Lou Holtz contract...if the Lakers job opens up he can leave before his contract is up with the t-puppies.

Kahn is no con he's the real deal. Rambis was the top coaching candidate out there not Avery Johnson, or other recycled has been's. He will bring experience under Riley and Jackson to a young team full of potential with or without Rubio. Granted they will struggle but with plenty of high picks and cap space in two years they will be compeitiive. Kahn tore McHale's team up and now he's reloading for a future that looks brighter every day.
