Rambis watch out! McHale might be lurking around to delivering another clothesline.

Great, another guy like mckale that has allegiance to a different team. The garnet trade brought boston a title, now who will rambis trade to LA to get that team another trophy. I see in the next 2-3 years another blockbuster trade where we lose a great player or 2 to LA, LA wins 2-3 more titles and we start rebuilding, again. What we need is a guy that will make a blockbuster trade in our favor to win something!!

al jefferson to cavs for ilgauskas and eight (8)
first round picks.
cavs get their first world championship this season, wolves get cushion for the future pushin'.
who knows, one of those eight picks could end up being a labron, kobe or kg.
trade bait to move up, etc.

Man, Wolves threads get the most puzzling posts.

There are limits to the number of future firsts teams can deal away -- limits imposed by the league after the Cleveland franchise committed to giving away too many in the past. When a new Cavs owner came in, the Commissioner gave them some picks back and prohibited teams from trading first round picks too far into the future. There are also more recent restrictions on teams trading consecutive first round picks.

The "Rambis will trade players to LA" angle is so spectacularly silly, I only feel obliged to point out that the guy would be *the coach*. David Kahn would be the guy with trade authority. You'd think any Wolves fan would know that, seeing as how he's been making a ton of them....
