at least they didn't roll over and play dead tonight. Rough patches are ok in February, as long as they don't last till March. Win Sunday and all is forgiven.

Hard to get excited about the inconsistent Illini. their offense is pass, pass, pass, "Clank". How they have managed to maintain a top 25 ranking is a mystery to me. Good teams, REAL GOOD teams win on the road, The fighting Illini will be 1- and done in the tournament.

When your bricklaying guard is your top rebounder, you have SIGNIFICANT problems.

They look very impatient and disorganized on offense. Meachum is terrbily mired in a slump. I think this is what we are going to get from them this year. They need some more mental toughness. Davis did play better.

Right when I thought the debacle in Minnesota was enough I had to see the same thing again at Wisconsin and on national TV no less. The motion offense that got them into the top 25 is mired in quicksand. There's no display of leadership. Seems the only thing they're good at lately is making excuses. Speaking of excuses, how many more ESPN pundits are going to make excuses for Alex Legion and his "trying to learn the Illini system?" Seems like the other teams in the Big ten have figured it out so why hasn't he?

It is time for a new coach. The offense is dreadful and it sure looks like the team is not motivated at all.

Maybe time to shake up lineup. I would start Legion and have Meachum come off the bench. Also get Brock more minutes.

It seems like nothing changes for the Illini. If it hasn't been free throw shooting, it's lousy shooting from the field, or a terrible lack of rebounding, or poor clock management. Isn't it about time to start promoting next years team, or the year after, or the year after? This is getting to be too much of a familiar refrain. Like the Cubs, it is always going to be next year.

I was also very displeased that Bohannon seemed always to be open for 3s, and there was never an adjustment or an answer.

Tallest player on the floor, 7 foot one Tisdale is a no show for the game with Wisconsin when he should have been unstoppable. He has a nice shot for a center but has no heart and timid like a mouse. Tisdale regularly gets pushed aside and can't defend much less rebound. This guy is Illinois' center for 2 more years?
