Shawne Williams TROY MURPHY, J. Tinsley -
$1.5mil $10.1mil $6.75mil =$18.35mil
1 year 3 years 3 years
Ben Wallace Sasha Pavlovic 2nd round pick
$14.5mil $4.5mil =$19million
2 years 2 years
Why: Cap space to go for the likes of LeBron, Nowitzki, Mcgrady, Ming, Wade, Redd, Stoudamire, Nash, Bosh, Ginobli, Johnson, Allen, etc in the massive 2010 free agency. We'd have $19million to spend plus whatever is left over from Nesterovic, Daniels, Foster & Baston ($17.9million) in the previous year.

Mike Dunleavy
$9milion 3years

Mike James Julian Wright
$6.2mil $1.9mil
1 year 1 year

Why: New Orleans needs a shooting guard and Dunleavy would fill that role for them.
For the pacers We'd have extra cap space in 2009 and could make a real run at 26 year old Carlos Boozer. We desperately need a Power Forward and he would be great. Dunleavy would leave a bit of a hole which we could fill with Graham until we can use the cap space we'd have from my first idea.(Mcgrady, Wade, Redd, Ginobli, J. Johnson, R. Allen)

2008 starting line up would be:
PG: TJ Ford SG: Brandon Rush
SF: D. Granger PF: B Wallace

2009 Starting Line up:
PG: TJ Ford SG: Brandon Rush
SF: D. Granger PF: C. Boozer

2010 Starting Lineup
PG:T.Ford SG: J. Johnson SF: D.Granger PF:C.Boozer C:R.Hibbert
With Boozer we'd have about $26mil to spend and I think we'd only need to spend around $15mil to get him. That leaves $11million spare.
With J. Johnson or Wade or Redd, etc, we'd have around 19 Million again we'd need to spend around $16mil to get one of them. Leaving around $3million to spare. Total of 14million. That we could use to cover Granger, Rush and Hibbert's contracts. We'd then be set as the best team in the league because Hibbert, Granger, Ford & Rush will all improve and we'd add probably a top ten draft pick from next year's draft and a top 20 pick from the year after.
