If Hollins can give them even average play at center this further opens up speculation for a trade of either Love or Jefferson. We need more scoring from the wings (SG & SF) and teams take it to us with bigger lineups. We could probably get more for Jefferson and I hate trading a player of his age and talent, but if we could get an explosive scorerfor him it would make us better. If we traded him for a high #1 could we be fortunate to end up with John Wall and Cole Aldrich? We'd
be awfully young but what a foundation. We still have the Rubio chip as well.

I keep putting up different scenarios on how the wolves may be able to make moves to make themselves better, but keep getting shot down with the clueless added to my ideas.
I feel jefferson, not love should be moved.
no, not like wolves fan from Rochester would like to feel jefferson.

Clueless - I don't know what you mean when you say I would like to "feel Jefferson." Sounds kind of kinky to me! I would be perfectly happy trading him. He hasn't been showing up for games lately - No points until the 4th quarter??? Totally unacceptable. I'd have benched him for a whole game - see if that didn't wake him up a bit.
I would be VERY upset if they traded Love. Corey Brewer is fast becoming my favorite player on the team. He gets them going!
I just wish I could have seen the game rather than only being able to listen to it. They should televise all the games.
Hope they can get a little revenge against the Knicks tonight.

Rubio isn't a chip. Its a wasted draft pick. The league knows it. why would a team give up anything for it? they wouldn't. The good news is its the nba
and not a major sport. The league is dying a slow death. Star players bringing guns to the locker might pick up the pace though.

Let's not get carried away with this win. Remember the Clippers just lost to the Nets, worst team in basketball next to the Wolves who are the 2nd worst team in the NBA.
The NBA should close about 1/2 dozen of their losing franchises and make it a better all around league. The Wolves will always be the door mat of the league and will continue to be as long as Taylor is the owner.

Oh boy!! Win #10. If they keep up this torrid pace they might even win 12 this year!

It's called a transitional phase of the team, a new coaching staff, young players and broken team, and new offensive/defensive schemes.
A triangle system is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, in NBA and takes months and months of practising and jelling of players. So it's pretty easy for impatient people to jump into a false conclusion.
It would take more than one season to replace, repair, and restore some decency for this team to compete against better teams in NBA. There would be more of shuffling and tweaking as time goes on.
So hang in there folks... Rambis didn't just become over night success with his playing and coaching either.
It all has to start with an owner of the team with vision, getting a new coaching staff, and acquiring a number of players who are willing to work, learn, train hard, and play with confidence and competitiveness.
So how far are you down the road???

Rudy Gay coming next year, so we can dump a 2nd Rounder or two, Gomes, Cardinal and Blount to the Bobcats for Tyson Chandler, Alexis Ajinca and Acie Law. Then dump Kevin Love, Hollins and Sessions for Rudy Gay, Marcus Williams, Steven Hunter and Hamed Haddadi. Imagine a lineup of:
PG: Johnny Flynn/Marcus Williams/Acie Law
SG: Rudy Gay/Wayne Ellington/Sasha Pavlovic
SF: Corey Brewer/Damien Wilkins/Alando Tucker
PF: Al Jefferson/Hamed Haddadi/Nathan Jawai
C: Tyson Chandler/Alexis Ajinca/Steven Hunter
Although they are contending, the Grizzlies know they can't afford Gay next year and risk losing him for nothing. Sam Young would fill his scoring void and they would deepen their bench.
As for the bobcats, they can reap the financial relief next year when the wolves would have to pay the near $7,000,000 salary of the often injured Chandler.
Of course, neither team would be dumb enough to be had for these deals, but along with my wishful thinking and the Kahn man, we can kahn someone.
