Magic roll past Cavaliers

Maybe the Orlando Magic ought to call more players-only meetings. A day after talking about not playing their best, the Magic dominated the NBA-best Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James 116-87 on Friday night at Amway Arena. Full Story

I knew Lebron was looking for a way out when I heard the announcers say he started limping. The beatdown was well along at that point.

What i was most proud of was Lee and Pietrus still diving for balls while up by 30 plus in the 4th. They play like this every night no one will beat them.

Is the first Magic playoff game gonna be on Sat the 18th or Sun the 19th? I heard the playoffs start on the 18th. Anyone know?

Jim, where are you? Take your medicine after picking a magic loss. Dont be like Kenny and run your mouth and then go hide after the Magic spank the cavs like a red headed step child.

I think Tiger and Hank Haney were over there laughing about how the Cavs looked like Charles Barkleys golf swing.

WOW, WHAT A GAME. ONE WORD... DOMINANT. Just got home a little while ago. Man what an effort. up 41 points at one time. I knew they were looking ahead to this game when they lost to Toronto. I knew theyd come out tonight focused. But I didnt expect this in my wildest dreams. What a great game. I wish they could play like that every night but I dont think its possible. Any questions about our team I believe were just answered. We can win it all, we can do it this year. Its just a matter of focus from all our guys. What a tremendous effort. I hope this intensity carries over into the playoffs.

LMAO will be crying that JJ's not getting enough minutes and kenny....might not show up. He's been talking a lot of smack on OUR blog lately, hasn't he?
As I told kenny last week, when he wrote at the bottom of his email: Cavaliers=2009 NBA Champs....Don't count your chickens until they hatch.
Am I correct on this, the Cavs have NEVER won an NBA Championship, right? If that's the case, they don't have **** on us!
Let's not get complacent. The Magic still have a long way to go to be NBA Champions, but I like our future and we are growing as a team every game!
true very true. the sun is shinging bright for magic fans everywhere. now that being said, it's amazing what a good shalacking will do to the haters *ahem LMAO/KENNY ahem*... i love it when they are quiet all of a sudden. lol sometimes life just hands us these gifts.:)

Ugh...Jim is back. He is posting under several names, but his IP address is from Debary, FL. I knew it was too good to last. I can only hope that he was forced to use a different computer. If he goes back to his old tired bag of tricks, I and others will Report Abuse on him again.

Ha, did Jim pick the Magic to lose again? His doom and gloom only coincided with the time they needed to to fit rafer in... I hope he realizes they're better now than when they first put a new starting pg in..........

I knew we were gonna beat the cavs cause we just match up perfectly against them, but damn... If LBJ's shots aren't falling they have no chance because his inside game is shut down when dwight roams the paint. Once again, i'm loving Alston's ability to be a pest with his ball swipes - 4 more stls tonight. Congrats to Raf on his first double digit ast game with the Magic.

I hope you aint accusing me of being that ass**** Jim. I know my ip is listed as Debary but I am in Clermont. Besides that I found out that Jim was not in Titsville. His ip was in Orlando. Anyway a persons ip in here is totally useless. Most of them are no where where they really are.

haha my IP comes in from Burbank, Palm Coast, and now seems to show up as winter park. Depends on where im connected. I dont understand why it changes but it must be something with brighthouse. whatever. ill say again, great win tonight. Never expected anything close to this. Dwight should call a player meeting before every game. Dwight is my MVP this year. How many 20 20 games does a guy need to be seriously considered an MVP candidate. Seems all the talk you hear is Kobe or Lebron.

Funnier thing is how some of Cleveland fans don't put much "weight" on this loss. They say stuff like, "Orlando won't make it past the second round anyway" or "they (the Lebrons) didn't care tonight since they played last night and they're still in great position for homecourt advantage." They're just in denial that the Magic have their number.
As our good ole buddy Jim would put it: "everyone needs to calm down in here!!!"

We know that the CLE fans are going to pull every excuse they can for this loose. It's the nature of their fans. That's why you haven't seen them post yet. They are taking their medicine and trying to figure up an excuse.

I'm just glad that the refs had no part in this game. Thank god we blew them out. The refs have a knack for calling phantom calls. There were a couple tonight, but it didn't matter much since the score was so bad.

This was a good win; I just hope our guys will put that type of intensity into every playoff game. If so, we are in good shape. I'm glad the players called a player only meeting. It seems that the guys know that they just try to play in the fourth and not put that type of intensity into the whole game.

Either way, good win. That's all I needed to see until the playoffs. SVG should rest the rest of the guys because whether we are 2nd or 3rd in the seedings won’t matter.

D@mn, it's late!!!!
