Mmmmm.. I beg to differ. I'm no JJ lover, but he played a decent game even though his shots weren't falling. He had 7 assist and again played great defense on Ray Allen. Lee does need to start, but JJ has been playing decently in his absence.
Yes he did. Not good, but decent. I just hate the "blind-to-the-facts" JJ supporters.

Turn out the lights, its over. Hedo Turkalou might have made a couple last second shots this year, but his overall game is terrible. Hedo has to be the dumbest player I have ever seen. Horrible shots, horrible passes and horrible decisions is a bad recipe. He should not be playing. Lewis has not been much better. He can't buy a shot and everyone wants to talkj about REddick? Give me a break. Between Turkafool and Alston and Lewis, we don't need to look pst those threee failures. I say bring Turkafool and Alston off the bench.
Turkoglu has been the most consistent failure in the playoffs. He really can be seen as the number one reason for the loss last night.

I remember back when I was playing the game how I got beat on a last minute shot by some fool.
I didn't mind that so bad as I did the fact that the guy that made the shot was dumb. Playing against and losing too dumb people is really the ballcruncher.
What I like about beating dumb people and their fans is they have no idea why they got beat so they blame the ref's. That never seems to fail.
I blamed a ref once. Bad move. He happened to be 6'9" and also played the game for an opposing team. I only wish he had been Joey Crawfords size. Anyway I let him have it over his bad call and then I didnt get to play again for about 8 weeks. Broken bone.
I never blamed a ref after that if he was over 6'3" and had any muscle. Pretty smart move on my part i'd say.
I went on to have a great career in college and then played ball for years after that. I will say that some of the toughest competion I ever went up against when I played for the Marines was a team of Navy seals. We won but what a battle that was. I was fortunate to make the last second shot to win that game.
Well all this reminiscing makes me hungry so I think I'll head out to IHOP for a big brunch!
:)
WOW - that was interesting -NOT!
Finally found someone to listen to your imaginary tale.

I shot that shot and did your girlfriend at the time too. So who's the dummy?

particularly Duncan's altercation and how many times he was re instantiated by Stern.
Rondo tripping himself results in a foul call on Gortat.
MP's shot blocked after it bounced from the board, he commanded just a foul instead of 2+1.
So many soft touches on Pierce he had very late foul calls, bur on the other end, Hedo got hit pretty hard no calls.
This guy has to be suspended!!! Period.
Maybe there's another gambler in the referee ranks.

Rondo is a little cheating weasel who has perfected the art of tripping over his own feet so it looks like somebody who happens to be within 2 feet has fouled him. His habit of rolling the ball down court is extremely annoying but it will catch up with him sometime. And we don't need to go into everything he got away with during the series with the Bulls.
Perkins shouldn't even have been in the game last night if the NBA had any consistency on how they hand out suspensions. I wish he'd take some Ex-Lax so he'd get that scowl off his face.
Scalabrini and Davis make the Pillsbury Dough Boy look buff.
Paul Pierce is still a good player but is a little too whiny every time they call a foul on him, even though he gets the whistle almost every time he has the ball.
I used to think Kevin Garnett was OK, but I guess he's showing his true colors by making a living of taunting from the bench.
Ray Allen is the only Celtic player that I would consider classy.
I hope the Magic can take the next 2 games so the Celtics can go start their fishing season. Poor fish.
LOL

Unfortunately, their front line really did us in last game.

Nanningbob, I respect your opinion about the Magic but if you can't see what the league has done for years then you have your eyes closed my friend.
You should read this article. Here's an excerpt:
Here are three largely factual Celtics facts:
They never lost a Game 7 at Boston Garden on a Sunday.
There was not a traveling call on a Celtic in the postseason between 1957 and 1986.
In Game 5 against the Bulls last month, Ray Allen became the first Celtic to foul out of a playoff contest since Satch Sanders in 1966."

<quoted text>Davis' true character ? Let me see, he shoves a kid with intent. Then when the game is over he is seen taunting Magic fans with a profanity laced verbal barrage. No I think I, as well as anyone with any commomn sense, has a pretty good idea of this guys true character.
Ray Allen is probably the ONLY player on Boston who has any semblance of class or sportsmanship.

It's SATIRE.

First hint -- it's written by NORMAN CHAD, hack comic commentator for poker on ESPN.

Second, he makes craploads of statements showing his determined hatred of anything Boston. I'm surprised they don't show a picture of him jumping up and down on a pile of Friend's (baked) Beans.

Hope this helps. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a game of my own to fumble through this evening.

I forgot that the Celtics are allowed to do what they want to an opponent..well atleast anything short of murder.
No, the only thing you forgot was your brain. You seem to be confusing hard physical play and should have been foul calls with outright cheap shots.

Of course now you'll tell me how you can possibly say anything the Celtics have possibly compares with an intentional elbow to the face of someone not looking or head slapping someone facing away from you running to get back on defense.

Oh wait. You can't.

I have some friends that are Spurs fans. When we first got Hedo they told me that he would be inconsistent especially at playoff time. I see what they mean now.

Wow! Another monumental collapse by the Magic. 12 point lead with 5 minutes to go and yet again they watch Big Baby single-handedly take them out. No heart by this bunch. Time for BIG off-season moves, like 1. Fire SVG!!! He is purely a regular season coach that has no idea of timing. For 3 quarters the Magic drive the ball to the rim and build a good lead, and then SVG in all his wisdom decides that Orlando should start launching 3s to try and bury the Celtics. Can't blame the refs on this one. Dwight did not even contest a single shot. He just stood there with his arms raised like a statue. Defensive player of the year? NOT!!!Celtics took advantage of the Orlando Photographers who just stood there watched as Marbury and Big Baby beat them alone. Well my fellow posters, it's been a great year, we'll meet up here next year and hopefully have a new coach(my high school coach was better than this loser) and hopefully Jameer will come back with a chip on his shoulder. Too bad Dwight and Rashard can't play in the WNBA, that's where they belong. Turkoglu, take a walk, we don't need you here. How did you make it to pro ball anyway?

Video of the play shows the 6-foot-9, 289-pound Davis ducking behind a referee and stepping out of bounds before appearing to place a hand in the small of the boy’s back. The boy took a step back and his hat fell off.

If I shove someone they're gonna go forward, not backwards.
But it must be different out there in Laker country..eh

Why should he have to apologize for running into someone who was on the court in the first place, that father should have apologized to Davis for his idiot son,
