"It's just that everybody sees a shiny new toy out there and they don't want somebody else to play with it," Smith said. "It's a tough proposition because it's not like he's going to instantly give you 15 wins.

"Of those 20 teams that say they're interested, I guarantee it's only about three that really after him."

sense much fear you, I do. Path to mediocrity, fear is. Take a chance on mcdyess, you must

I agree with old Yoda. If we can get him we should. We could use the front court help. However, I think he will go back to his old team or Boston. He wants a title and they look more ready for a title shot than us right now.

Cook is a awful player who can only do one thing. Shot the 3 at a poor rate. No D., rebounding, steals, blocks, NOTHING!!! I wish we kept ariza and developed him.

No dice on McDyess. Stop licking your chops. The Magic don't want to shell out the dough and Dyess only wants to be in a champioship caliber team.

Apparently the word on Cook was right on. He is on the lazy side.

We have a good chance to get a good big player, but the GM said that we dont needed, what we need is a good GM. You spend all the money in three players, is that a good GM. Spend the money .

yeah cook cry somewhere else, battie looked great last night, less minutes for u. cook's talent is also his down fall, he is decent three point shooter, but howard needs a center that can hit the mid range jumper like battie. when he gets double teamed battie was usually open and hitting the mid range.

We don't need McDyess. We are solid at 3 thru 5. We need to upgrade at 1 and 2!

Amen to that....and that also will be taken care of in time. We cannot just jump on anybody that is released or suddenly available. Its only been 5 games...c'mon now...
Can you imagine JJ comes off the slump and starts avaraging 15/5 a night.

This Magic team seem to be out of synch this year. I doubt Otis will bring anyone of substantial talent to Orlando. We need to make bold moves to compete with Boston or Detroit. So far, Otis is incapable of making any bold moves. His conservative and subdued moves leaves much to be desired. The truth is that the team has regressed. Jameer is still inconsistent in his play and hasn't improved his defense. He gave Jameer his extension before he earned it and it shows in his effort. All we need to do is look at how Ainge transformed Boston literally overnight through aggressive trades - something that will never happen under Otis or this Magic organization.

i could have not said it better myself, also add atlanta to the mix of up and coming teams, while orlando stays stale.
