The big question is.....can the Magic re-sign Gortat for next season? They should start him at PF and have Turk come off the bench. Great win, bring on the Celtics or the Bulls!!
Not enough cash to resign him. Hedo would have to go.

Another horrible article by Mike Bald Donkey. Maybe people that don't watch the Magic were shocked at the outcome. Magic fans knew that the Magic had a good chance of being in the game with a chance to win, the large margin of victory was a surprise. Bald Donkey wrote another horrible article recently where he criticized Rashard Lewis where he failed to point out that Lewis is a small forward playing power forward and failed to point out that Lewis is asked by the coach to stay out behind the three point line to spread the floor for Dwight. Then he offers a one line "Mea Culpa". What a dope Bald Donkey is, he supplies no substantive analysis.

I know exactly what they will whine about...the past. Check out Dalembert's complaining about Howard getting special treatment. Funny, coming from a guy who calls Dwight "unsportsmanlike" and then slaps Turk in the face.

Mike may not know much about basketball, but just ask any of his special friends: he sure knows how to be a great catcher! He's even grown his own faux beard for those pitchers who like to pretend they're still hetero.

I'm so glad that Philly's whining bit them in their butts in a big way.
It could have been the "whining" but chances are it was the abortion of a defensive game plan that "bit them in their butts."

The Sixers are not good, this series should have never went 6.

Bianchi, you are terrible. This article must have taken 4 minutes to write. You even use the AMAZING Santa story that no one has ever heard before.

why is everyone so surprised to see that JJ can play ball...I'd say 70% of the "bench warmers" throughout the league are capable of putting up solid to good numbers if given the minutes to do so...JJ's a phenomenal shooter, but like most great shooters, he needs time to get into a rhythm...for all of his deficiencies, JJ can absolutely put the ball in the hole, there's no reason we shouldn't have already learned this, other than SVG single-handedly stunting his career...and Gorat's PER 40 min. splits are off the charts, if he ends up starting for another team next year, watch out, this guy's a monster...its funny how often we forgot about the skill level of just about EVERY NBA player, these guys are incredible players, most just need a legit chance to show it (case in point, Glen Davis)

SVG said he's going to have to look into getting Lewis more post up looks now with that kind of performance.
See that kind of bothers me. Did it really take until last night for SVG to figure out how good Rashard could be in the post? Wake up Stan!

It's because we play with an unconventional lineup. If we were playing with a traditional PF then Sweet Lou would probably put up about 20 ppg or more. And Rashard does post up, but it's only when Dwight isn't in the game. I've noticed him do it many times, it's just the Sixers never figured out how to guard against it, so it was exploited more.

I know Rashard has always been an excellent post up player. Is Stan really just now figuring that out, lol?

Good question and to be honest, I didn't know how good he was down there. I mean I didn't know he could consistently be that good. I knew he had that type of game, he has been posting folks up all season, but to continue to do it and hit his shots with remarkable accuracy is what really impresses me. The Magic really should play Rashard and Dwight on opposite sides of the box, giving them room to work in the post. Thus, Dwight will have another rebounder down there to help with put backs. I mean SVG could rotate the plays a little better and go back to the traditional 4 wing guys, but I think the above would be just as potent on a regular basis.
