Lol, Awesome piece agian Bianchi. The Mea culpa phrase is resoundingly correct. Lewis was like 90% in post ups; they had no answer to it. Here's to the Magic keeping it up now with Howard back against Bulls or Celtics now. Here's the best players of the game in my mind:
1) Rashard Lewis- a Beast in the.... paint. He was even passing out much better than Dwight does in his doubles. SVG said he's going to have to look into getting Lewis more post up looks now with that kind of performance.
2) JJ Redick- 4 assists. 5-7 3-Pnters. He is so smart, he passes it around to get the Magic into good ball movement (their biggest weakness in the series 'till the last game or two). And then he makes 5 of 7 3's to hurt the Sixer's defensive schemes greatly.
3) Rafer Alston- When he gets hot, he's hot! 21 pnts on good %. More importantly, he, like Lewis&JJ, passed around tremendously. 10 assists.
4) Marcin Gortat- The Polish Hammer hammers down a sick dunk in the game, pretty much symoblic of his overall play replacing Howard.
Turkoglu was looking better and better again too. Not bad performance. He was elbowed in the face by Dalembert too by the way.. Go Magic!

Mike, you're a hack. You dogged these guys out especially Rashard & alway throw up his salary. Stop focusing on his freaking salary. He was an all-star this year, stepped up when his team needed him & lead them to a series win without superman & our rookie all-star in the making. Go Magic!
I'm so glad that Philly's whining bit them in their butts in a big way.

Bianchi, I'll give you the following feedback:

Terrible Bruce and Star Trek analogies
Funny analogy about the Chrysler stock

Overall, it evens itself out.=)

I disagree Alex, I think Shard needed to be dogged out, because the talent he has. Their is no reason why he doesn't average 25 ppg for us. I think today was a perfect example of what kind of player he is.. A player that can take you inside or out. Everybody knew it, today without Dwight he just showed it.. Shard needs to be posted up MUCH more and rely on the mid range much more, and not the 3. Shard is a beast

And again, when will the refs be held accountable for their bad calls? Turk's ejection should show that it is high time the refs are checked for eye sight, some obviously don't have any, have an age limit set and a good check on their IQ. At 56 I am the first to admit I don't have the same reflexes I did when I played. Why are there 60 year old refs, or older trying to keep track of 10 players 1/3 their age or less? So the refs tonight were younger thus the IQ test. Why was there not a review? Oh,that's right they played in Philly. City of Brother buggers.

Derek, not sure what you mean about a sick dunk by Gortat. It was a killer dunk that also slammed the Dull brain (Dalembert) to the floor. Maybe a misspell? Gortat was awesome he started the whole win, though he will never come close to Howard he is a good center and has a lot to look forward to.

Derek, by the by Bianchi admits he likes to hear himself talk or as he puts it, running off at the typewriter or something to that effect. If he is still using a typewriter I wonder where he gets his ink ribbons? You may like him but I can't stand his run of the mouth and hope he is not far behind Whitman on the door out. I will give him the benefit of doubt for his semi retractions regarding Lewis. Of course what else could he run his mouth off about?

By the way Bianchi this is the 21st century and we us laptops or desktops called computers.

How does the Sentinel justify paying a sportswriter who doesn't know anything about sports?
If I wanted to experience a fanboy's ravings I'd listen to sports talk radio.

"Everybody thought we were going to lose," Redick said. "Nobody gave us a chance."

SOUNDS ALOT LIKE WHAT BIANCHI SAID IN HIS ARTICLE THE OTHER DAY. KINDA FUNNY HOW BIANCHI NEVER ADMITS WHEN HE IS WRONG, ONLY WHEN HE IS RIGHT.

THE WORST THING IS HOW BIANCHI TAKES HIMSELF SO SERIOUSLY.
WHEN THE SENTINEL FIRES BIANCHI, I THINK EVERY ORLANDO FAN OUT THERE SHOULD MEET DOWNTOWN FOR A PARTY.

Great game from the bench. Whether they play Boston or Chicago in the second round, if the Magic let up on last night's intensity, they won't be able to beat either.

The big question is.....can the Magic re-sign Gortat for next season? They should start him at PF and have Turk come off the bench. Great win, bring on the Celtics or the Bulls!!

Great win for the Magic. Usually during a great playoff run, there is one game that sets the tone for the team. This win will definitely set it up for the Magic throughout the rest of the playoffs. I'm not sure if i want to play the Celtics or the Bulls but i think we match up better with those two than we do with Philadelphia. This was the best the Magic have played since pounding the Cavs over a month ago.

what do you have to say now Bleeaahhh-anchi? How about eating some "shut the heck up"? You and Brian Schmuck are a bunch of bandwagon jumping chumps! Maybe somebody should start a poll to see if we can run you out of town?

Lewis is a consumate team player, and can take over a game if he needs to. The Magic reflects the TEAM spirit in this "ME-First" league, and Lewis exemplifies that.

Maybe the "news"paper RAG that you work for pays YOU too much.
