It took awhile but you could see signs in his earlier years that he a good shooting touch. defense was questionable but I always felt he would be a contributer from the beginning. Actually, when he learned to stop deferring to Kobe, and just kept on shooting that is when I knew something was up. And for Kobe to take him in and show confidence that it is okay to do things on his own the door was opened. We getting a championship this year but I think the upcoming years are going to be even more exciting, with more championship. This is now a family who believes in each other and not dysfunctional as the Kobe/shaq years. Unbelieveable this team will be.

The LA Lakers is a good training ground for rookies coz most of their rookies end up very good to excellent as the years progress. That's what happened to Sasha. If the Lakers just let him loose in the court i believe he'll gonna be like james worthy type of guy. He might be a starter in a couple of years.
