Kobe, Lakers Almost Blow Game to Rockets

Kobe Bryant was already icing his knees, believing the victory was secure. The next thing he knew, Phil Jackson was asking him to rescue the Los Angeles Lakers from the hard-charging Houston Rockets.

i nearly vomited when houston got to within two points with a minute left. good thing the rockets CHOKED on their multiple trips to the freethrow line. haha, all for nothing houston.
...lamar's 1+ month absence is going to hurt.
but, can we go 4-0 versus the texans? sure we can. go lakers!

its a real shame that lamar got hurt, thats all we needed. well i hope we can hold the fort down. tonite against dallas will be a tough test for sure. but i think we can beat houston at home and washington as well on sunday evening bak home. i think the team is better than say a year ago, to make up for his absense, others can step up such as radman, cook, turiaf, bynum, if they can all contribute, we can make up for no lamar for a while. plus i expect kobe to try and take over games more often.

we definitely have more depth than last year. the lakers got along well for a few games without kobe this year so i'm confident we will manage in odom's absence. as of right now, we're down by 5 against the mavs in the 3rd... slowly creeping back. scratch that, it's down to 3 after kobe's steal + dunk!!
must concentrate now. go lakers.
