The Bulls will step it up in and play with a more fluidness in Deng's absence. They are going nowhere this year so they might as well find out just how well they can play without Deng in the lineup. Everybody is pointing to 2010 for the free-agent frenzy. I think this upcoming offseason will determine the legacy that Paxon has with the organization. 2010 is just the icing on the cake.

What frickin cry baby wuss!!! you are getting around $144,308.93 to play a game during the year which is 48 minutes and with dengs stats more like 34 minutes a game so he gets paid $4,244 per basketball to play through a pain in his leg. I say if he can play on it, then suck it and EARN your money. Nobody I mean no basketball player is worth that kind of money to play a sport, and definitley not worth paying him money to sit on a worthless bench to watch the game where other fans have to pay a ripoff $135 a ticket!!! Play through the pain Deng!

I actually do hope to see miss. Because as of Northsider said, they are better off without him and try to trade him for a number one pick this summer and steal away Blake Griffin to pair with D-Rose!!! Luol go back to Britain!

Get a clue ppl. While he may not be living up to his contract, most of you would be whining and crying while missing as much work as you could on crutches if you were in this situation, let alone be able to play basketball. As for the money, its not the players faults they make the money they do. They are the product, if you were the product at your job you would probably make more than x amount of dollars per hour. Its also no different than if you are a better worker at your job then the guy next to you and he makes more money per hour, your gonna want more money because you think you deserve more than he does based on your performance. Really no different in sports, just on a different pay scale and again, they are the product, your just a laborer. If you were the product at your job, you would probably make millions to. They dont come to your job and knock the burgers our of your hand, so think about that the next time you wanna complain about something.

Yikes Nada, this is first time you are right about something! Your sun baked brain must be producing live cells again.

I will bet the nurse put a new White Sox hat on your head before she wheeled you into the sun.

Go White Sox!!!!

Put in Salmons, he is a better all around player anyway. Deng is like Mark Prior, if he isnt perfect, he cant play. Forget about him, and start Salmons now!

He got paid, that's all that matters to him.

This guy will be stealing money for years from the Bulls.

Surgery is no guarantee. Let him take the rest of the season off, if they make the playoffs (50/50) get another MRI and see if the problem is resolving and pain improving. If they don't make the playoffs you have not lost anything by waiting to do a surgery.

is it too early to buy out Deng's contract? is it too late to fire Pax? bad GM signs bad players to long contracts and your bad owner doesn't care. stick a fork in this club already.

Whether we like it or not we are stuck with Deng for a while! No GM in their right mind will take this guys contract! Go ahead and have the surgery no need to keep going back and forth! The guy has been injured most of the year anyway!
