The owners are in a no-win situation. Even though The players are a buncha spoiled prima Donnas, the owners cannot afford to make them the bad guys, as they are the face of the league. Without the fans love for the Kobeys and the Derek Roses of the league, there would be no fan interest. So inspite of the players presumptious stance, demanding more revenue sharing, the owners are vested in keeping them as "role models". But in my opinion, the players shouldn't have any rights to demand anything above the salaries they have contracted for.
