The Wolves need a decent point guard, clear and simple. When they have one in place, everything else will take care of itself. Ridnour or Flynn is not that person.

Ding ding ding! Winner, winner chicken dinner!
A healthy, reliable center and backup center would be nice too. They have some nice pieces... and some GLARING holes. Rambis is being "PC."

When darko is healthy he has been very good. Rubio is coming next year so that will hopefully be a fix. and hopefully we can pry oj mayo away from memphis

When Mayo was drafted by the Wolves the look on his face said it all - he didn't want to be here and I doubt that he would be willing to come here now. Most kids at least force a smile when they are picked and try to look thrilled. He didn't even try. Forcing him here isn't going to help this team. He's a great scorer, but I'm nor so sure he would do our team chemistry, which seems to be developing nicely, any good.
We need to give Flynn some time to get back into playing shape and get his rhythm back with this group of guys. You have to remember this is a different team than the one he played with last year. He's been thrown into the mix a third of the way into the season and now has to adjust to new teammates. Give him a break and a little time to do that.
All that said, tonight's game was fun to watch. They kept up the pressure late and even when the Nets made a mini-run, they just kept on playing good defense and ran their plays and managed to soundly beat a team that they should beat. Go Wolves!

how about beasley and love to okc
for green and harden, if green will sign a longer contract.
they both play defense and hustle. harden is second best shooter on thunder and on the verge of stardom.
with luck (seem to never have) get a stud power forward who can also play defense in next draft.
go after greg oden ?
love is going to bolt first chance he gets anyway isn't he ? unless someone can find him a nice minnesota girl to settle down with. get him snowmobiling, fishing in the summer, hunting, put some skates on him. something that will make him want to stay.

Clueless - you aptly name yourself
You would trade our two best players for two guys from Oklahoma - or Greg Oden - who has legs made of fragile glass. I wouldn't take him and if he came free - the medical bills along would bankrupt Taylor. He is a walking (limping) disaster waiting to happen.
We are a third of the way into the season and we aren't setting the NBA on fire so you want to gut the team without giving them a chance to grow and learn together. You are truly clueless.
By the way - Pioneer Press - why is there no mention of the game against the Nets?? That makes it 3 wins out of the last 4 games. Where were you???
