Wanted: A lot for a little at center

I am not a genius, but why would you put a three point shooting Beasley at the 4, and a weak outside shooter, strong rebounder, like Marion at the 3 spot. Shouldn't those spots be switched? Beasley at the 3 and Marion at the 4. Wade at the 2, Chalmers at the 1, and a big man who is not soooo BIG that he clogs up the lane. This team has a chance to put up some pretty big numbers at a very high rate of speed. All of these guys can get up and down the floor at a pretty good pace, and the new guys (Beasley & Chalmers) came from a college conference that plays defense to generate offense. i hope Riley plays to this teams new strengths and not the old outside in game that went on with Shaq.

You make some very good points. Theoretically, what you say sounds good, I just don't think Marion would work out at the four. Maybe some kind of nontraditional offense where both of em run and shout. I just really don't like Marion at a low post. But Beasley needs to be on the perimeter, too.
