These olympics will always be under the big time doping scandals. Not a clean win.

Yes I agreed, many people cheated but the Committee chose not to prosecute, you can tell by how some of the athletes looked more like beasts than human. Countries with a lot of clout and money gets away with more except the USA who do not allowed its athletes to cheat.

I could not help but laugh at your statement here. Obviously you have not followed sports for very long as anyone who has knows the US are probably some of the worst offenders when it comes to doping. I could name numerous athletes and should also let you know it is a known fact that the US has constantly turned a blind eye to steroids especially when it comes to tack and field. The 100M bronze medalist for the US Justin Gatlin was nailed for steroids in the past as was Leshawn Merritt who was competing for the US in the 400M. He just came off a 21 month doping ban and pulled a hamstring in the heats. I am not sure why anyone who has been nailed in the past would compete again because their credibility will always be questioned. " Countries with a lot of clout and money " to me would perfectly describe the US. You also forgot to mention the part how they like to bully other countries and hit them with sanctions when they don't comply with their requests or policies. Carl Lewis, Marion Jones ( lied in court then later admitted to using steroids ), Flo Jo just to name a few. Oh ya and Floyd Landis who won the Tour de France a couple of years ago denied blood doping then later admitted to it. Boy you guys have some great role models in the US!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately your American heroes aren't nearly as clean as you might think. |

Hold your horses. If the medals won by EU members were added, it would be something like 272. The U.S. won 104. So, unless we start counting medals by U.S. states and comparing them to European countries, Europe (EU) is the most successful. By far. How many medals did something like Kansas or Oklahoma win?:)

$h!tnobili, for someone who claims to have been an NBA coach and player, you sure are naive! |

Like I said, you write stupid things just to stir the pot. Whats obvious and makes sense you turn around and write the most ridiculous crap. I mean look what you just wrote.Do you really think that your comment is of any substance? Give us a break. WB is right what a Naive statement. |

Just look at our women, they looked very normal just like the average person on the street not like muscle builders, whereas China their weightlifters both men and women are built like beasts that's why they dominated weightlifting. Even though we are a rich country we have a code of honor which forbids our athletes from cheating.
Our men look very normal also. Phelps won a ton of medals on hard work and discipline, you can ask Mrs. Phelps. I know a lot of you are jealous of America but we are the world's role model. Especially you Sammy, Canada trails the USA by a mile. |

You are an USA wannabe

We trail behind USA? in what? sports? Dummy we are the second largest country in the worlld with a population of 36 mill approx vs your 300 mill plus. Would you like to get into politics and see how far we trail then too? Lets not. I respect USA but lets not go there politically. May I remind you of one thing. We are actually seeing many of your Citizens immigrating here and leaving USA. You know why smartass? because unemployment is so high your way. Again let just leave it right there. Perhaps you should read the link below and educate yourself instead of stirring the pot. Make your time useful. I might Canada is not in the mess you are in judging by this article. The west is desperate for people to fill jobs Believe it or not donut stores pay 20hr . So think about your own country before spewing crap about leading in sports only. I would much rather know where my next meal or free medical before any sporting event. Dumb ass take a read. http://www.thestar.com/news/world/article/124... |

You been spewing the same thing for years. The constant cry baby whining "my country is better than yours" scenario is played out. You of all Trolls know when to use that Crap when you have been beaten in the ground. Nothing you say makes sense anyway doorknob. |
|
I still remembered how Carl Lewis outed Ben Johnson on steroid usage. It took an American to clean him up.

I remember how Donovan Bailey busted your chops to there Gino
|
|
Donovan Bailey was one slow chum that lucked out in a few races. The USA has owned the sprints for years till this freak Usain Bolt came along, he is awesome but a Jamaican not a Canadian.

What the heck are you talking about? Donovan Bailey won a gold what 16yrs ago. Times are different . Secondly what does Usain Bolt got to do with Canada? qyite frankly you should shut up, You guys haven't one gold in track in years. Even a small tiny island beating you up. Gino go get your meds son. |
|
Brampton, Canada |
and Marion Jones? you tap dance around that too? Gino put a lid on it partna |
|
This year we won a lot of sprints, especially our women. We won both men and women relays, Allyson Felix 200 meters, Carmelita Jitters 100m ,Sandra Ross 400 meters, Justin Gatlin third in 100 meters.
Oh, we were second in the 4x100 men's relay behind Jamaica. Bailey was a mercenary, he was not born in Canada. |
|
|
Melbourne, Australia |
The U.S. won in bball simply because they took the most amount of drugs.
Other countries are gaining on them these days simply because they are starting to dope themselves. |
|
Brampton, Canada |
Did they get caught? And Gino be quiet he is Canadian period. He left Jamaica years ago son. |
|
Look in the USA we have a very strong code against doping from Jr High all the way to the pros. Cheating is an exception whether as a rule as seen Canada and other countries. The USA, wins because of hard work ,discipline, philosophy, pride and blessing from God. All other countries I can not say the same. You guys just want to stir me up.
