To say that Lebron made the right choice to go to Miami is just stupid. He would have equal chance at winning a title with Cavs, Knicks, or Heat. The keys for the Knicks to challenge the Heat for titles: defense, a star point guard, and a new coach. NY will win a few titles before the decade is over!

Equal?

What are you on?

Jordan/Pippen, Kareem/Magic, Bird/McCale/Parish, Issah/Laimbeer/Rodman, Russell/Havlachek, Russell/Cousy, Erving/Malone, Reed/Frazier/Bradley.

In the years that LeBron James was in Cleveland, who was his great supporting teammate? Who was the guy who could take over a game if LeBron had an off night?

LeBron James came to a club that was a yearly bust and INSTANTLY made them a contender. Quick, name every NBA MVP who has played for Cleveland. Don't burn any brain cells, there's only one. He gave them SEVEN years, with no great move by the franchise to bring in a complementary player IN HIS PRIME to assist him in bringing a championship to Cleveland.

SEVEN YEARS.

By the time Shaq came to Clevelend he was just a walking paycheck. The team that LeBron put on his back to get them to the Finals was better than the team he had in his last year. The burden of a superstar athlete is that when you win, you get the lionshare of the credit, but when you lose it all comes down on you, and last year, LeBron James was roasted when they did not reach the finals.

I don't blame him. I blame an owner who saw the value of his franchise skyrocket after they got James who did nothing worth mentioning to make his team better. If you were LeBron James what would YOU do? The history of the NBA is filled with great teams who had more than one star player. So now in the case of LeBron James an entire city and most of the nation are ignoring that and expecting LeBron to do it all by himself.

Look at the Cavaleers as presently constituted. You expect LeBron James to win a championshp with that lot? Are you nuts?

You may not like the way he handled the thing, but I think he waited for management to make a move in free-agency. Cleveland never make a move a Bosh, Boozer, or Wade. They never even talked about it. So if they did not, they certainly did not talk to their franchise player about it. What was he supposed to think?

There is a reason why some teams win championships and some teams get to add to the sorry legacy that is Cleveland pro sports.

The Miami Heat did what it took to bring a potential championship back to Miami. The Cleveland Cavaleers did what the Cleveland Cavaleers DO.

That is not the fault of LeBron James.

Lebron was impatient and childish , and not an arrogant arse. He would never have survived the media microscope that is New York!!!! Talk about a coward, he failed Cleveland not the other way around! Lebron should never have had that press conference like some political power broker. Eventually he would have won a title in Cleveland. You sound like a Heat fan, I'm not surprised by your myopic POV...

Nope...
Not a Heat fan. Just somebody who's watched the game since as far back as I can remember.

After all that I said, you come back with, "impatient and childish." This is PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL. It is a business, not some 6th grade science experiment.

I repeat, he gave them SEVEN years. A three-year extention on a four year deal. That means he could have left after for years, or forced a trade after his third year.

How long is somebody supposed to wait? IMPATIENT? A three year extention to a four year deal is not patient to you? If YOU were in the same position, in your current life, would you not go to a better position after four years of YOUR life?

What is stupid about this, is that people do not put themselves in the same position. For some reason they think that the same feelings you and I have, don't apply to pro-athletes. Before Kobe Bryant got Pau Gasol as a teammate he SCREAMED to be traded, at the top of his lungs!

The Lakers did something about that. The Cavaleers ASSUMED that LeBron would stay in Cleveland, even if they did nothing. Well, they did nothing and they got nothing. What? the team, the GM, the owner has nothing to do with this? Of course they do. There is a reason why GM's in the NBA get the NBA Executive of the Year Award. The reason why is that they DO SOMETHING to make their teams better. What did Cleveland do? The had the worst record in the league and got to DRAFT LeBron James.

WoopDeDO!

And because of this and the fact that he's from Ohio, he's supposed to remain a Cavaleer and continue to carry that entire franchise on his back?

You would not do that. Don't lie to me and everyone who reads this and say that you would. If you did, there is a name for you and anybody else who would, CHUMP.

LeBron James may be many things, but he is not a chump.

At the end of his career there is a strong possibility that he will have at least two championships. In that time, I guarentee you, even with two first round draft choices THIS year, that the Cavaleers will still have none.

The reason is simple. They do not do what it takes to win.

If you look statistically speaking from the season when lebron made the finals with the cavs. Cavs had better stats than lakers did during their two peat. The reason the cavs never won is because lebron is a choke artist who can't finish when it's an important game or the game is on the line. Go mavs!!
