Anatomy of the haters

Generally speaking, "the haters" are emotionally immature. They are obsessive, over bearing, controlling, petty, envious and jealous people, who are miserable on the inside.

Intense dislike of oneself, self-hatred, is the root of the problem.

The haters are uncomfortable in their own skins and live vicariously through others whom they erect as sports heros, heros whom they may subsequently demote to the status of worthless villains.

They worship their sports heros whom they expect only perfection from, but if their sports heros prove to be less than perfect human beings, and mere mortals who are flawed, flawed just like them, they are quick to turn their heros into villains whom they curse, verbally abuse, and would even physically harm.

When their sports heros perform, speak and live up to their expectations, all is good with the world. The haters feel good on the inside. They feel like winners!

When their sports heros fail or are unable to perform, speak and live up to their expectations, it is all bad, and the world is going to end. The haters feel lousy on the inside. They feel like losers!

How dare their heros disappoint them? Now that they are disappointed, they don't hesitate to tun their sports heros into villains, and, forthwith speak and act against them with deadly venom.

The greater are the heros, the haters have erected for themselves in their own minds, the greater the disappointment they suffer within themselves, when their heros prove to be mere imperfect mortals, imperfect just like them. Rather than working hard to improve themselves from the inside out, and thus being able to genuinely feel good about themselves because of who they are on the inside, they take an easy and ineffective way out, and begin to desecrate their once upon a time heros, making them the sole cause of their unhappiness, the scum of the earth and the butt of their jokes. It they don't begin to change themselves from the inside out, the joke is always going to be on them, not the fallen or demoted heros whom they want to destroy and hurt!

Intense dislike of oneself, self-hatred, is the root of the problem.

Did you expect something else? We know how good he can be. And we also know what kind of quitter he is! His first shot or lay up was the time to set it straight and take him OUT! Sort like TURKEY JONES DID TO BRADSHAW in the 70's. Jamison you had your chance to be LOVED FOREVER AND EVER in Greater Cleveland and you blew it !!!!!!! Take him out.
Timmy, you are a very sick puppy!

You are a bitter person who is very unhappy with himself, who lives vicariously through sports figures. When they disappoint you, and don't do what you think that they should do, it adds to your misery. Misery loves company. You want them to be miserable too.

You are a real hater, a classic example of the haters.

Now you hate Antawn Jamison, too, because he did not live up to your expectations. He did not do what you wanted him to do; and because of this Jamison will not be loved in Greater Cleveland, according to you. You can only speak for yourself, but I have noticed that the haters like to encourage others to join them.

I have heard some people express disdain for Anthony Parker also, because he did not take out Dwayne Wade on a fast break dunk early in the game.

Who in their right minds really needs the love and support of fans like you? You are "haters" (self-haters) and you don't know what love is.

Watching the response of people who came to see their home team play the Heat, it reminded me of Republicans sitting on their hands, refusing to give President Obama his due. I saw people looking like they were attending a funeral rather than a game. A few people were ejected from the game.
But LeBron James prevailed because he had a job to perform on the court. HE not only performed, he delivered his team to victory. He was generous in his comments after the game. He didn't return the anger shown him. He didn't bad mouth the audience or the players, who understood that this was a mere game, and one or the other team had to lose.
LeBron and the Heat had a good night. To bad those who came to see the game went home angry and pouting.
LeBron's "big night" really wasn't that big a of deal. He was playing against old team mates who revered him, even if,privately, they had developed a hate for him. They are a bad basketball team without him. Period. The Heat have been losing to some less than stellar teams themselves, lately,so they're not all that hot themselves. They just lost in Memphis to the freakin' Grizzlies, for crying out loud! He was their basketball messiah. James excelled in the third quarter because he was becoming angrier and angrier with a crowd who refused to let go and move on. They were only bringing out the best in him. And you can expect the Heat to beat the Joe Johnson-less Hawks tonight. So??!!!! There are so many teams wanting to "avenge" the "illicit marrigae" of the "Big Three" that I guarrantee you that the Heat WILL NOT win the NBA championship this year. The Heat are AFRAID of the Boston Celtics. Believe that!!! And LeBron James had better be afraid of all of the crazies in this world. It's supposed to be "just a game",but the "all eyez on me" "powderman" has made it much more than that with his insulting behaviour. Have you forgotten what life was like in the housing projects, powderman??

LeBron has backed himself into a corner. He's playing the villian, and he's enjoying it. But there are people out there who are SERIOUSLY angry at him,and he could really be in danger.

First, the question: Are you one of those people who are so angry at him, that he could really be in danger of incurring from them, some physical harm?

From the tone of your comments in post #66, it sounds like you are, indeed, one of those "crazies in this world" whom you say LeBron James had better be afraid of.

You think that you are posting anonymously, but you are not. The Eyes that matter the most,-- at this very moment,-- are focused directly on you (plural). The Eyes that matter the most, are watching me, too.
