The Heart of the Matter (excerpts)

There are people in your life who've come and gone,
They let you down,
You know they hurt your pride,
You'd better put it all behind you,...,'cause life goes on,
You keep carryin' that anger,
It'll eat you inside, baby,

But, I think it's about forgiveness,
Forgiveness,

So I'm thinkin' about forgiveness,
Forgiveness,
Joe

Revenge is a dish best served cold...and LeBron James gave Cleveland a ice cold dinner to chew on. So much for the haters.

Can you blame LeBron for wanting to leave Cleveland and those classless fans?

LeBum's classless behavior deserved nothing better in turn. The fans deserved to serve their view concerning his decision. IMO the best response to his return would have been no fans to have shown up to the game.

You are classless and disrespectful yourself.

People who worship sports figures have no one to blame but themselves when their idols disappoint them. Spots figures, even the so-called greatest ones among them, are imperfect human beings, just like you are an imperfect human being.

GOD has blessed Lebron James to be an extremely talented athlete and highly skilled basketball player. He is not GOD, nor is he a god! If you are among those who elevated him to such a status, don't blame him, "too bad", blame yourself.

Turn to GOD and seek forgiveness for your own sins.

Nobody really needs a sermon. What we do need is a constitutional amendment separating religion from the internet.

It only takes one person to worship someone to make them a god. And all those fans you saw last night booing made me a god they worshipped me for 7 yrs.. I came back to my followers and gave them a show they all loved last year.. I didn't turn my back on them the light always gets brighter and the light was brighter in Miami. So all you haters Bahahahaha!!!!!!!

Idolatry is a religion. It is the worship of things other than GOD.

Everyone has a religion. Some people worship money and other inanimate things, some people worship people; some people worship a variety or mixture of things; some people even worship the constitution and the internet.

The most interesting feature of Lebron's returns was that smile he sported the entire game to rub salt in the wound as he showed the crowd what they said goodbye to.

All Cavs' fans do not hate Lebron. Many of them still love and appreciate him and continue to enjoy seeing him play, although they would much rather that he were still with Cleveland.

Lebron is only a human being. He has been deeply hurt himself, by the fallout from his decision to leave Cleveland and go to Miami.

He was smiling all night, and chatting with former teammates in an effort to be at ease with himself, and find and maintain a comfort zone, which he did. To their own disadvantage, some of his former teammates, unwittingly gave him and the Heat a huge assist by chatting with him during the game and thereby helping him, too much, to find his comfort zone.

His former teammates don't hate him for leaving. They understand the nature of the business and his decision. Some of them might still have hurt feelings, but they definitely do not hate him. In fact, they still love and admire him, and are still in awe of his talents. Likewise, he still has love for them and for Cleveland fans in general. Love is stronger than hate!
