Full story: Alamogordo Daily News

LeBron James may have ruined another friendship back in Ohio. Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson didn't appreciate some of James' words and actions on Thursday during the Miami star's heated homecoming to Cleveland.

Hey Cleveland....LeBron James no longer plays for your pathetic organization. Get over it. Quit acting like children. You all are losers.
Hey Lebron, put on you big boy shorts and be a man. You sold yourself out for the sake of a ring. You never saw Jordan, Bird, and Magic sign with the same team. You are a first class loser.

Have you seen the lifestyle the professional athlete's have to maintain, the mansions, cars, girls, drugs, clubs, they have to go to the highest bidder, just like Politicians and any other athlete, But sure is different when the owners and managers of professional sports throw you to the curb, Just like Tom Landry......
When people are stupid enough to spend 100's to watch someone play a sport and then do it again and again, Who are they to complain...

You know what? There's only one thing I wish upon LeTraitor James. I don't wish for anything bad to happen to him,his family,or his friends. He's worked extremely hard for all of the things he has in life. But all I'm asking the Good Lord for,in relation to LeTraitor,is for him to end his career the same way Charles Barkley's and Carl Malone's NBA careers ended: WITHOUT A CHAMPIONSHIP. Is that too much to ask,Lord?!

There's a lot of things I know about LeNarcissist James, but, unlike the live debacle he pulled on the Cavs last summer,I've taken the high road and kept them from the public. I don't see LeNarcissist ever trading the sunny beaches of Florida to repent and return to the Cavs and give them what he promised. That's not the m.o. of narcissists. We're still waiting for O.J. to admit that he carved up two human beings and the body of his ex-wife on the sidewalk where his two precious little children could have came outside and discovered! Nah,admitting wrong isn't the style of narcissists.

If LeTraitor and crew make it past the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers to win the NBA championship this year, then maybe the hate for LeTraitor-LeNarcissist should subside. But the best thing he could have done to have prevented the tidalwave of disguist for himself, would have been to stay in Cleveland until he won a championship. Then, during the summer after winning that championship, set a date to make a live announcement on national t.v. Obviously, everyone would have been tingling with curiosity. Would he announce that he was retiring??! Would he do like Magic Johnson and tell the world that he was....HIV positive??!! Whatever he was to announce,he would have kept his promise to win a championship for the Cavs, and would have EARNED the right to leave the Cavs for gorgeous, sunny Florida without being booed and taunted and dispised. But,apparently, when the "king" was sitting on his "throne" with his jeans and plaid shirt on in front of Jim Gray and the nation,he didn't understand that. Gosh darnit, where's a purple robe and a diamond-studded crown when you need one??!!

How important is LeBron James?

Why is it months after he left Cleveland is Clevland still so bitter? The first Miami/Cleveland game showed vividly why he left. It was not that Miami was so potentially good with him, it was that Cleveland was so bad WITHOUT him!

And it does not matter how he announced it, or what the process was about how he made his decision. If the Media had not hyped this to nauseating levels, he could have made that decision very quietly and still the level of hate would have been huge!

The inference that if James had stayed, the Cavaleers would have won a championship is ludicrus.

Yes, Miami and other teams gave him a better shot to win a title and besides the money, what do you play for?

As for if this is something that Jordan, Bird or Magic would have done... DUH!

They were never PUT in a position to play together, because there is no way the Bulls, Lakers or Celtics would have put out enough money to have both players on the same team. What the Miami Heat pulled off was very much due to the face that Wade, James and Bosh WANTED to play together. I doubt that Bird wanted to pay with Johnson, or if Jordan wanted to play with either.

Wade, Bosh and James LIKE eachother! You can't say the same about Jordan, Bird and Johnson in the prime of their careers.

You're looking at three players who GAVE UP MONEY and swallowed their egos for the opportunity to win championships.

If you blame James alone, you don't see the who picture. Blame all three and blame the Miami Heat who showed them that it was possible.

James, Bosh, Wade and the Heat... ALL GUILTY!

LUDICROUS??!!!! The Cavs won SIXTY-plus freakin' games!! They had the two-time reigning MVP!! They had Shaquille O'Neal!!! They could have made more trades and acquired more pieces to the puzzle that was taking shape until LeQutter vamped to the beaches of Florida!! It doesn't matter, though,it's his life. But he has brought a curse upon his obsession to win an NBA championship that will hover over him like a stormcloud. And you know what? I expect the Heat to be absolutely electrifying as the season progresses, and when the playoffs arrive. But will they make it to the finals this year? Here's a few words that says they won't: ALLEN,RONDO,GARNETT,O'NEAL,ROB INSON,PIERCE,RIVERS,and DAVIS,(I'm going to Disneyland!!....I'm gonna' ride on the kiddyrides!!!...I'm gonna' say "hi" to Mickey Mouse!!...Do you understand me??!!")

They lost Shaquille O'Neal.

The moves they could have made WITH James, are the moves they STILL could have made without him. They lost James and aquired nobody of any substance.

A curse? Come'on. Every player should be "Obsessed" with being a champion! He's guilty of being like Bird, Magic etc., all who played with other great players. The Lakers and Celtics of the 80's had the likes of Worthy, Kareem, Parish, McHale etc... I laugh at people who act as if Bird and Magic were one man shows!
Great TEAMS win championships, not great players. The best team the Cavaleers had went to the Finals and the next year, DID NOT get better via player aquisition.

No, I don't understand you.

The Celtics, Magic, and other teams in the East have the same burden that the Heat do. They must stay healthy and maintain team chemistry in order to best the Heat.

I cant help but laugh at the way LeBron went back to Cleveland and punked them. After all the trash their owner and players talked it was funny to see James "go off"
I still have zero respect for Lebron, but it was funny none the less!

Naah, I'm just a Magic fan at his work cube who has not been looking forward to the Heat getting hot. Which it looks like they are becoming.

Do me a favor though... Keep sending up those positive thoughts though, Ghost. I could use a yacht, and all the accutraments!

Because Jordan, Bird and Magic wants to play against each other. They want competition and they're leaders of their own team. Make or break they will get the ring without having to join each other.

Lebron on the other hand promised a ring to Cleveland and then broke their heart on national TV. Why not tell them right away? Why do a 1 hour special about it?

OK... Let's set the record straight...
Boston, LA and Chicago are major media markets. Toronto (Bosh) and Cleveland (James) are not. Only Wade played in a major market.

There was no way that Bird, Johnson or Jordan were going to leave the advantage of being the biggest fish in a big pond. Wade STAYED because Miami is what is is. James and Bosh came to Miami because Miami is what it is.

The circumstances were different. Eventhough Jordan could have signed for more money (NBA base), he refused because his perfiferal income more than made up for it. Major income that was boulstered by his being a Chicagoan.

To compare the Bird, Jordan and Johnson situation to James is silly. Bird, Jordan and Johnson only had to see the city of Cleveland a few days a year.

Cleveland even WITH James was not a high-priority with NBA free-agents! You can only endure running on a treadmil but for so long.
Better to get off while you have productive years in front of you!

You cant be serious! Love the spin. It has noting to do with the city. James left for the oppertunity to earn more money period. He has zero loyality to the city or his team. No there is no comparison between James and the likes of Bird, Johnson, and Jordan. As they were true professionals. Loyal to their teams and their cities. James on the other hand sold out. I cant say as I blame him, but James will never be worthy to hold Jordans, Birds, or Magics jock strap. He may be talented but he is a loser. If he was the "king" as he proclaimed himself he would have stayed in Cleveland won a ring and showed he was the king!
