We are making good progress toward improving our draft positon. If we only had one or two more lazy thugs on the team, we might end up with the worst record......

I will say again, Carlilse's system of highlighting O Neal, ensures the rest of the team will play below their potential.
The Pacer's don't have the talent. They have one star and the rest are role players. They need a mature basketball mind at the point guard, and they need another all star scorer, who can create his own shot. They need someone in the front office who knows talent, and they need a coach who is not so conservative, and knows how to develop talent.

I just don't get this group (I won't call them a team). Even though I think the far bigger problem is the mix of players, I think you have to take an honest look at things and conclude that these guys are not going to consistently play hard for Carlisle. If the front office has determined they lack the desire or flexibility to do a wholesale restructuring of this team, then I think you have to consider replacing the coach and seeing if someone else can get these knuckleheads to play hard. I don't see what other choice you have - if you stay on present course you are a mediocre-to-subpar team in what is probably the weakest Eastern Conference in recent history.

Couldn't have said it better Ted. This team is heading the wrong way, and i see no reason why thats going to change with this group. From top to bottom this team is in a world of hurt.

Well, I guess Tinsley wasn't to blame last night's loss..

The Suns just toyed with us for 3 1/2 quarters last night. When D'Antoni sent in Nash with 5 -6 minutes to play and he scored 8 points with 3 shots in 3 trips, the game was over. Just shows that a good team that played terrible can beat us anytime they want to. Jermaine played great and gave a great effort. I'll say it again --- we have a good team (but not a great team) that will stay in the middle of the pack (.500) and will go out in the first round of the playoffs (if we get there).

Oh, I forgot. I predicted at the first of the year that Tinsley would be injured. He did better than I thought --- played through the All-star break this year. Darrel is OK, but he is too old to play the minutes he had to last night.

I don't see what the big deal is. I had a good game for a change. That was the whole reason I wanted Harrington to be traded. I don't care about winning, I just want to be the star of the team. My leg i starting to hurt so I may have to take a game off soon. Smart people know that the Pacers need to ship me and Tinsley off but I have Bird and carlisle fooled into thinking I'm good. We should run more on the court but I told Rick we need to slow it down because I'm to lazy. Oh well, I'm still the best on the team with Al gone.

This team isn't going anywhere and the worst news on that is that the entire Eastern conference stinks. So, we'll look better than we really are and suffer in the draft because of the sucky east.

I hope we tank the season. I could care less about the playoffs. Whoever comes out of the east is going to get swept and embarrassed by the West anyway.

There really isn't anything exciting about this team any more. I'm bored, when does football season start?

Its sad, just think in a month or so when IU and Butler and the NCAA tournament is over the only option for sports will be the Pacers. Someone get me a drink.

#1 draft pick in the 2008 Draft= Greg Oden... not a bad idea to tank, but I don't know that they could possibly do worse than Boston of Memphis... those two teams seem to have it locked up..

Champions don't get complacent. They play for the love of the game. They play to win. I've said it before and I'll say it again: "This team has no heart."

Is it time to start looking at the coach yet? Does he have to start taking some responsibility at some point? Did they really believe that this was going to be a contender with Rawle and Josh and Orien; who the hell are these guys, should have kept White, because this team is going nowhere and at least he along with Williams gave the fans something to look forward to. Please get a player in the Tinsley/Daniels trade and stop taking leftovers for main courses. Does Larry have a clue?

The Pacers are made up of a team of a lot good players. The Coaching staff needs to be able to use what we have in a team and develop a winning program. Replace Coach Carlisle and get a coach that will demand a winning team and winning attitude. If Larry Bird wants to keep his buddy as coach, then replace him as well.

The Pacers "used" to be fun to watch. Not any more.
This "team" doesn't seem to play hard or even care. They look like a group of guys who are out there to collect a check and get the season over.
One year, I remember, the Pacers slogan was Pacer Pride. This group of guys (they are definitely not a team) seem to to have no concept of what pride is.
I wish I had a "job" like theirs, makeing big money, work (if you call it that) six months a year for less that 40 hrs a week and not be held accountable for shoddy / poor / less than acceptable work.
There was a time when the Pacers were fun to watch. These guys a not fun to watch in any shape, form or fashion.
I'd love to hear them respond this this.
I know, it's not their fault I'm not entertained. They "try" hard. Bull crap.
