Well deserved indeed! LB was clearly the best 6th man in the NBA. Ginobili is good also but I think he started too many games this season to qualify.
GO SUNS!!!!!!!!!!

You should be converted to a Suns fan before this series is over then. Doesn't their lose, free-wheeling style remind you of Lakers' showtime days? It's fun to watch.

I totally agree with you tracy of course im a lakers fan so im bias about that, your lucky you got to watch those guys in action, I can only look at video and see what the showtime lakers were like, magic is my favorite laker of all time I belive hes just the best, of course people would say jordan, or kobe, maybe wilt. So much talk about the next jordan, I think it would be alot harder to find the next magic, where are you gonna find a 6'9 pointguard that moves and creates and scores the way magic did.

I think they would give them a run for their money!
Magic vs Nash: stat wise, they'd be equal
Nash wouldn't defend him b/c of size
difference
Scott vs Bell: equal. Both are good defenders and
shooters
Worthy vs Marion: Worthy will score more, but 'Trix
will fill up the stat sheet
Diaw vs Rambis: Diaw is better

Kareem vs Stoudemire: Amare would kill him, KAJ's
too old in '87
It would be a good series!

That would just be about as entertaining a 7-game series as you could ask for. I think it would be close, but I'd say your Lakers would take it.

whoa whoa cyber your still smoking dude your one of the few suns fans I respect but damn dude your smoking some good shit, first of all magic would do more than steve nash guranteed magic almost averaged a triple double in his career, and dont forget hes a dynamite scorer as well when he needs to be, and his height advantage and moving the way he moves would be alot to handle for the suns, you are totally underrating my man magic, and I agree with you on scott and bell, and you know worthy would get his, yeah marion better bring it but im sure he would, and I believe its not rambis and diaw its thompson and diaw thompson is a better defender taller too and has a outside shot I think that matchup would be close, and please amare would not kill kareem, amare would get his but kareems height and experience would bother him, and its not like kareem was worthless at that age he would certainly get his not like he use to but he would get his I dont see amare being able to take on a 7'2 kareem abdul jabbar even at his age...overall its going to come down to team chemistry because your suns have good team chemistry they might make it interesting but you know those showtime lakers could play defense as well as be flashy, and I think coop would slow down barbosa off the bench, it would be interesting but I cant see your suns winning a team that plays defense and isnt brain dead like the current lakers who really dont know the fundamentals, one thing is for sure both of those teams would be able to run with eachother.

Trust me, no disrespect to Magic, but I've seen Nash drop 40 at the drop of a hat, so scoring is not a problem if he feels that's what his team needs (Magic was the same way). If I'm not mistaken Rambis started @ PF with Mychal Thompson coming off the bench so he'd probably be matched up on Kurt Thomas or James Jones, so I don't see that matchup having an advantage either way. Coop, ehile he was probably their best defender, couldn't slow down Barbosa-the kid's too damn fast! And I'm sure Kareem would have some success on the offensive end but Amare would outscore him over the course of the game. He's too quick and with that midrange J working, he's pretty much unguardable. But with all of that said, I'd still give the 80s Lakers a slight advantage (they deserve it with all those rings).

We started out talking trash, but it has turned into a friendly debate instead. Once we found out that we both respected each other's teams and opinions it smoothed out.

Well see thats how it should be, a little trash dont hurt but dont let it get carried away to the point where you sound like a total idiot, both you tracy and cyber are good fans that know your stuff...I know if you guys say anything to another fan its gonna be something you know about and not something out of the blue that makes no sense.
