Cavs' victory short on style
#2 Mar 11, 2008
Portland is a good team and plays very disciplined basketball. Given the way the Cavs shot the ball in the first quarter, they needed to clamp down defensively in the second half in order to come back and were able to do that.
7-3 since the trade. They just need to get healthy!!! Despite all the injuries they still have a shot at winning 50 games again this year.

As much as I like Coach Brown his offense is still flawed. The Cavs have never been a good shooting team despite having good shooters, repeatedly, who can't shoot. So it is the defense that will win it for them. This is the first time we have seen a clamp-down D in a while.

Lebron and Joe Smith seem to be devloping some great chemistry. When Z is healthy, the Cavs will always have a low post scoring threat in the game.
Two real nice games in a row by AV, seems to be back playing at the same level before he got hurt.
Can't wait to see what this team can do when everyone is healthy.
Maybe next year we will see an offense with better ball movement, but probably not likely with MB in charge.

Hey whatever happened to calling the CAVS the Cavaliers like they wanted when they went to the wine and gold?
