They HAVE beaten Boston, so we know that they are capable of beating elite teams. That does not concern me as much as they MUST beat the teams they are supposed to beat as they did last night in Portland.<quoted text>Still have to beat Detroit as well. Also Phoenix and Dallas. Right now they are a force. To be a major force they have to beat the exceptional teams atleast once. Especially when they play them on their own home floor. As games go by, they VanGundy is getting his rotation down, and players like Bogans and Turk are showing you more than they did with Brian Hill's bend but don't break style of basketball. This team is more aggressive offensively, and tougher defensively. They COMPETE more.
The Magic are better athletically, and more sound in all phases of the game. The obvious improvements are Lewis and Foyle making Howard a more consistant force night in and night out.
No, I am not giving the Magic the Eastern Conference crown, but they are potentially a top four seed, and a threat to be good for years to come.
I love what I see with this team.
