When I read that Chris Paul likely is hoping to have played his last game in New Orleans , and that he was hoping to be traded, my brain automatically shifted to thinking of places that he could go.

Lakers should give Bynum up if they can get Chris Paul though we like him & admire the heart he showed us in the finals CP3 is the best point in the game he takes Kobe off the ball some,he is a instant team leader that will help Kobe in ways that can't be measured we can add big bodies or already have wit Ratliff Sasha&Bynum & maybe a future draft pick we can sign Shannon Brown to replace Shasa

REASONS WHY CP3 WILL NOT BE A LAKER THIS ANYTIME SOON:
1. we don't need one of the best all-around pg's to run the triangle in LA. we just finished signing two guys for several years who will get it done (d fish/blake)
2. we can't afford cp3.
3. chris handles the ball far too much- that's kobe's job... you know, the mamba. aka the best player in the game today!
4. we can't afford cp3.
5. we'd most likely have to give up odom & bynum = not worth it. odom is expendable, bynum is not.
6. we can't afford cp3.
in a couple of years when kobe is ready to pass the torch, then i'd love to have cp3, but until then, he's no where near priority.
i think he'll end up in nyc.
