Tie game, 3.4 seconds left in overtime, the Garden sounding very much like a subway station at peak hours -- gee, wonder who's going to attempt the shot for the Bulls ? Brad Miller ? Well, no, that's not the man who would come immediately to mind.

Perhaps Miller's miss had something to do with playing very little and not taking any during the game. Vinny almost had a decent play designed there, if only he had gone to a player quicker and warmer than Miller. Almost.

I guess getting slapped across the fact and losing a tooth doesn't count as a flagrant foul in Boston. Let's hope the Bulls man up and give as good as they got in the next game.

By the way, anyone still wish we had Chandler instead of Noah?

Thanks Rick, for a decent article about a team playing with a lot of heart and character. Yeah, they've lost 3, but they only stunk once -- the rest of the time, they've played right with the defending champs basket for basket. They deserve credit for that and appreciation from a city that's been wanting to SEE RED. Your buddy, Rosenjerk, could take some integrity lessons from you.

I hope that's some in-joke. If Del Negro truly doesn't know the name of one of his players, he should be fired immediately. If you can't figure out someone's name, how are you going to figure out a defense.

How dishonest on your part. You have no shame or credibility. Joakim Noah had a whale of a game. Clutch, unlike Brad Miller in a big game. He choked at the line with the game on the line. So much for experience and veteran leadership. The dishonest fraud that you are, you elected to give him a pass. Shame on you. I am praying for the day when you are fired. Noah had 11 points and 17 rebounds, you colossal fraud.

Get real, the hard foul had nothing to do with Brad Miller's miss at the free throw line. He simply blew it. This guy is old and done. His best days are behind him. This guy has no history of excellence at this level. He choked. The young and inexperienced Noah made both of his late in a tense playoff game. You either have it when it counts in tough situations or you don't. Life on the line I take my chance with young, daring and fearless players like Noah. That's how he won back-to-back national championships. Titles like that don't grow on trees.

Just in case anyone is wondering about this post, it's for Rick Morrissey, the biggest fraud in sports journalism.

This game was fixed it's very obvious the refs were biased towards the defending champs. Two big markets, they need this series to extend to 7 games. This is why pro basketball is all garbage.

Rondo you better be wearing a mouth guard when you come to Chicago! Your grin will have less teeth when you leave! celtics are a sham, they are quite beatable! Go Bulls!

Flagrant foul! Chicken bleep refs should have called it. The Bulls need to pour it on Rondo every time he handles the ball.

Bulls were out scored in the paint by 22,Celtics shooting 48.8% Bulls 40%.
The weakling Noah needs help in the paint. Wy didn't Miller & Tyrus play more minutes????

Hinrich had a good game until you watch his clock eating circle dribbling. He can't help it, he is just too slow to beat any one off the dribble one on one.

You have got to be kidding. The Refs are clearly on the Bulls side. Look the Celts, without KG and Powe are not going to be in the finals. In fact, with out them they can't beat the Cavs. The Bulls are playing over their heads. If KG and Powe where playing this would have been a SWEEP.

not only was it a flagrant foul, it was goal tending

officials blew the game on many calls but that one is textbook

you can't touch the rim as the ball is in flight and the flagrant would have given the bulls a at WINNING it (either one) AND the ball out of bounds

But rather than complain about the officials, make Rondo a marked man so we can see what is and what is not a flagrant foul. HIT HIM ALL GAME LONG in game 6. Hit to injure, Celtic style.

Re: Miller play, state of NBA

I've officiated at every level up to and including D1. As the pro level has "evolved," I'm curious about what has happend to a game that once showcased finesse, passing skills, quickness and intricate play calling. At what point did the game condone mimmicking and combining the plot lines from "Rollerball" and "Death Race 2000?"

Does Stern and his chief of officiating see this stuff? There's more to the game than counting receipts, Dave. They have "flagrant foul" on the books, but apparently an offensive players needs to be knifed or fully decapitated in the lane to get the call.

So fans and posters shouldn't be too hard on Miller for missing the free throw. You'd be disoriented too if seconds earlier your teeth were bashed in as a guy attempted to sever your brain stem from your spinal cord.

I thought Miller was a wuss a bit. he can't take a punch to the face?- Shut-up and shoot the free throw! Stop holding your face and play! Was that an act to get the ref's attention? No - he was still holding his face at the free throw line. He was acting like he got hit by a bat for pete's sake.

Bulls fans cannot complain about the refs. This game was gift wrapped with a bow from the refs. Allen fouls out with over 4 min left on an illegal screen by Brad Miller and the complaint is that they called a foul on Rondo but it wasn't called flagrant. Look at the box score, Bulls attempted 8 more free throws.

forgot the refs blew the call on the Gordon 3 where Allen fouled him...Gordon was clearly out of bounds...they get that one right and the game is over...Miller had a chance to tie the game...and choked...the Bulls up 11 in the 4th...and choked....stop making excuses..calls go both ways

Brad Miller is a fake. He looked fine (besides the fat lip and blood) before the 1st free throw. It wasn't until after the free throw that he started rolling his eyes and looking dazed. Give me a break.

Gordon did a great job milking his "hamstring injury" to the media..."I'm looking for a miracle"

Not surprised - he doesn't even have a H.S. diploma.
