Here's a letter BG can send to teams to attract them:

Hi, my name is Ben Gordon. I can be your one man team on offense. I love to kill comebacks by launching terrible threes. But don't worry, they go in just enough that you'll think I'm a savior!

This probably has alot to do with the bulls losing and ben gordon sucking badly this game, but I can't help but think that the bulls would be wise to not resign gordon for more than the 50 million they offered him, and I wouldn't be crying if they didn't resign him at all. Ben Gordon can make some of the most amazing shots if ever seen, but more often than not he just jacks up ridiculous shots when the bulls need points, he was poison for the bulls tonight, his crappy defense and his 7-23 shooting were painful to watch. Again I'll be the first to admit that I could just be pissed cuz gordon killed any chances the bulls had at winning, but I like dhow the bulls fought to try and overcome Gordon's absolute suckiness

It would appear Gordon started looking past the playoffs about Q2 tonight.

I probably don't care if we resign Ben Gordon or not. Ben Gordon tends to force stupid shots. with less than a minute left in the 4th down by 3 he dribbles half court and shoots a contested three. OMG. I was pissed! I rather have a lineup of Rose, Salmon, Deng, Thomas, and Noah. Bench consists of Kirk, Miller and who ever else makes the team next year. All and all Great series great experience for everyone.

Please Pax, don't even think about Ben anymore...let him go. Rose could have gained a lot of experience tonight had he driven the ball instead of Gordon shooting laughable threes and not taking it to the basket. Rose is the future; Gordon is a problem.

It's amazing how little casual fans realize how much of the defense Gordon monopolizes just by standing on the court in the corner. How much his threat helps free everyone else.

Rose could drive the ball more if he wanted to drive the ball more, his passivity isn't due to Gordon's dominance. Gordon takes fewer shots than just about any 20 point scorer in the league, or apparently the rest of you don't want another 20 point scorer with Rose, because that would detract too much from him.

As soon as he's gone, you'll be trying to replace him, and guys who are just shooters, but not good scorers and worse defender than Gordon still make money not far off from what we could have locked up Gordon to this summer had we accepted it when he tried to take the offer after the Bulls artificial deadline expired. Look at Kapono / Korver's salaries and tell me Gordon at 9 million is way over paying.

I have said for a long time that we should re-sign Gordon unless we can replace him with someone better. I would call him a "B" level free agent, and unless we can add an "A" level scorer we should keep him. We don't have someone on the team right now that can replace his instant offense. But, you know what, I'm sick of him. It's like he's unable to listen to a coach. I would rather have a guy off the bench like Eddie House to bring in. Take our two draft picks and package them to move up in the draft for a guy like Tyreke Evans, Wayne Ellington, Gerald Henderson, James Harden, or even Demar DeRozen. One of those guys will be there as a late lottery pick (which I think we can move up to for our #16 and #26 picks). I don't think that a team can win consistently with someone who refuses to play defense, run an offensive play (although sometimes I feel that Vinny doesn't actually design plays), fight through a screen, or take it to the hole with a purpose. Way to fight Bulls! You earned some respect this week.

Not Eddie House though please, his name was just stuck in my head. A guy off the bench that has a great jumper and can add a little instant offense with a high 3-point percentage.

I sure hope Pax uses the replay of this game to decide whether to resign Gordon. He killed the Bulls tonight. Dan Bernstein is so right about Ben Gordon. It is easy to get intoxicated with Gordon when he's making 3's. But he sure sobered us all tonight. If Rose is going to take the next step, Ball-hog Gordon has got to go.

Doug: I used to feel the same exact way as you do, but I think that's wrong. I don't feel like Gordon will ever be just a kick out jump shooter. Plus, what do we do when we play a team with a big shooting guard and small forward? Do we have Derrick Rose guard the Dwyane Wade/Kobe Bryant/Ray Allen/Tracy McGrady type of player? Do you think that he can hit what every player/commentator/reporter calls an amazing shot every game of a playoff series all the way through the Finals? He won't and can't. I mean, he doesn't seem to care about getting a good shot, milking a little clock, making sure there are rebounders under the basket, etc. That will always contribute to a loss.

Sad to look to the bench and see all the spark plugs dumped by Pax. No Shannon Brown. No JR Smith. No 6'6" Hughes to guard Allen or Pierce and drive to the basket. What about Khyrapa, who we gave up Roy or Aldridge to get? Where was Tim Thomas, not even "active".

Gordon would not be a ball hog, if he had anyone to pass to that could shoot. Who do you want him to pass to? But he needs to return to PG, as at Conn. We need a real, tall SG such as Jamal back. What we really need is Brandon Roy.

gordon was keeping the bulls in the game early, but later when they came back within 3 he killed the momentum by forcing shots on succesive possesions. if he would just play within his abilities and not try to be "the man", he's a great addition to the team. he cannot drive the basket when the bigs are under there. he gets his shot blocked and ends up on the floor. if he can't learn to play smart and not force it. then good bye and good luck. why is that none of the coaches have been able to get him to stop forcing those shots and play smart?

No Thanks, Ben Gordan ruins team basketball, and steal the ball from D. ROSE, he score 20 points per game, and ruins the whole offense flow!

Salmons can be the 2 guard.

We need a real SG, one who actually 6'6 and can play defense.

Ben Gordon can go play euroball, and jack all the retarded shots he wants there.

Bulls not re-signing Ben Gordon would be the stupidest move.
