Bo Outlaws time has come and gone!
Jackie Butler, Wayne Simien, Demetrius Nicholas are players that could help the Magic. We are thin in the frontcourt! Outlaw is nothing more than an cheerleader!

Bo is a vet. He may not be the best, but having someone on a young team with experience and a positive attitude is needed. Sometimes you need a cheeleader, one who has played the game. The magic dancers do not count.

Not nearly as much as Bo. I for one hope Bo stays another year. His presence on this team is very valuable.
After that, I'm backing him for mayor.

it would be nice to see the magic pick up Demitrius Nichols, he is a good lanky player with a great shot, he needs to improve his defense, but has great potential

I'm glad for Bogans. When the Magic got him out of college, I was excited, because -- being a gator fan -- I remembered him shredding the Gators many times. He could shoot and was a great defender. I think he lead UK to a perfect SEC season his last year.

I love Bo Outlaw's attitude and energy, I believe he can still help. Even more I am happy for Bogans, he has solid skills and a toughness, which the Magic need. It also proves that Brian Hill, though a kind individual, great person, but could not coach.

JJ is needed in the second unit - the starting five, if SVG goes the way he is expected to, will have Lewis, Turkoglu and Nelson, who are all good shooters, but not great defenders. Bogans will be in there to take the toughest perimeter defense job from the first tip. Then the second unit will have JJ, Arroyo and maybe Garrity to pick up the offense, and Ariza and Foyle to keep up the defensive intensity.

If they start JJ he will be the 4th or 5th offensive option in that unit, which is pointless because it will dilute his greatest strength. Bogans will be fine being the 5th guy, having no plays called for him, but doing the dirty work and spotting up for Js when necessary. Giving JJ the green light to shoot off the bench is the best way to get the most out of him.

it should not be bogans...we need to see early if reddick can get hot from outside in starting lineup..we know bogans has defense..jj has greatest shooting skills from outside..he owns college basketball records from outside...i say start ariza ahead of bogans...

Exactly - Bogans plays perimeter defense better than Nelson, Turkoglu or Lewis, and way better than Redick. That is why it makes more sense to have him in that unit, taking on the tough defensive assignment, than it does to have Redick in there for his shooting. Say Redick starts over Bogans tonight - is he going to guard Michael Redd? He could try, but it would not be pretty for Orlando. Better to have Bogans in there, and then when Redick does come in and Bogans sits, bring Ariza onto the court also to cover the oppositions best outside player.
