I think Mr. Van Gundy, is discovering the different talents that this team have, and I know that he will make all the adjustments in order to defeat the high level teams.

Agree with a trade of Reddick for a big man to help Howard specially with present good shooters Lewis, HT, Bogans, Dooling, but who is going to help JN when he is off if CA is traded. You probably are not seeing CA performances lately.

Who cares? Magic are horrible. Strength of schedule says a lot about a team.

itchy, you must not understand the NBA. Reddick has no trade value. what kind of bid do you think someone will give up for him? i do agree however that we don't need him

Trade Reddick? Are you guys serious? Did you see how he played in the preseason? Do you understand his shooting potential? He has been compared to the likes of Reggie Miller and Rip Hamilton.

TRADE DOOLING; have Reddick come off the bench behind Bogans. Dooling has trade value, trade him and use our injury exception to get a big man. Dooling is too similar to Bogans. Either that or trade Bogans since SVG is used to the play of Dooling, it may be tough. By all means, if we trade Reddick, it will be another case of our players exploding once they leave our team (see: Cory Maggette, Troy Hudson,Matt Harpring, Drew Gooden, Anderson Varejao, etc.)

are you kidding keeper?? reddick can do 1 thing and 1 thing only; shoot. he can't play D, can't add anything on the boards, and has no athleticm. you show me who compares him to reggie miller or rip hamilton and i'll show you a complete idiot. his shooting capabilities may be in there league but as far as overall game......please. plus, jj can't stay healthy. it seems like every week he's out with a different injury. now saying that, i dont think we should trade him now bc he has no trade value. give him some minutes to make him attractive and then trade him.

you know if redick was not going to play why was he even drafted that high by the blundering magic. the kid is not even getting playing time, i not it was svg pick but the kid can shoot, better than garrity.

Mike, if he can't do anything except shoot how will he get trading value? You're contradicting yourself. Reggie Miller was not known for his D. We have enough D and I'm pretty sure we can have him replace Garrity as our "sharp shooter". Why does he seem to have diplomatic immunity anyway?
Reddick has more trading value, as it is, than most of our team excluding Howard, Lewis (minus the contract), and Nelson. His injuries are not serious, it's reffered to as being on the injured list but without the major injury. If we trade him, put it on paper he'll be adding 14-18ppg on another team.

We need to keep Dooling because he also plays the point defending against the bigger guards. We all also need to keep all our defensive assets.

Keep JJ for the potiential. He can shoot. We most likely will acquire a big some other way. Plus, it's only the begining of his second year. It usually takes players 4 years in the pros to really develop.

The Magic are playing well. They are fun to watch now. I would say just tough'n up a little and add an inexpensive big or brusier type.

The thing i read, was WORK and that just aint gona happen in the NBA much less Orlando but you can spend your time and money and go to the game, that always makes you the popular one on your block.

Keep JJ...he is the next Steve Kerr/Jeff Hornacek. He just needs playing time, which he has never gotten consistently.

Redick sucks, he has no heart and it shows in his lack of effort on the desfensive side, in preseason. Preaseason games are not a good judgment for how well your offense is playing, Preaseason is just to get some of the kinks out early. Redick sucks, hes a one dimensional player who has no potential than what he has already shown, this is not college ball, he will never be like steve kerr, kerr played with heart and intensity, redick should continue to make the better basketball dvd's because thats all the ball hes going to play. Arroyo will be traded by mid season, and another player for someone who attacks the rim, look for the Magic to acquire an attacking SG. This team has mucho potential, give them time, once they fill the rest of the pieces to the puzzle this team will be good for years to come. Dhoward, Jnelson, and Rlewis are good cornerstones to build around, and the solid play of turkoglu def is a positive.

Sorry preaseason is a good way of seeing how your offense will flow, but you are playing against backups, so thats why redick shined, and thats the reason arroyo shines in international play because hes facing mediocre talent, and hes slightly above mediocre. When arroyo shows that he wants to improve this team and not just showcase his own talents i will then support him, because he does show flashes of being a brilliant PG, then hes erratic

Word is that the Magic will get the injury exception and should pursue another big. I really hope and pray Webber is not on their list, and I hope and pray that Webber does not want to play in Orlando either. Can you say washed up since he came into the league, if that is possible. He did not help Detroit in the post season at all, and he does carry around an ego with him that would be cancerous to the locker room. Webber would never step in and be a leader like KG has for the overhyped but good celtics team (no rotation, 82 games is a long season) Dale Davis or PJ Brown would play much harder, and are much better defensively despite them being older than Webber, plus I dont think the Magic would sign a player for longer than one year.

Word is the the magic got that exception last week. That's old news buddy!
It's just a matter of time before the magic make up their mind on the few big mans that are still available. The only two quality big center we could get would be Brown or Webber, but I don't think we could land any of them. I kinda like Melvin Ely. I used to like Chris Andersen from NO before he got suspended. I read he can play again, but I don't think he is 100%.

Another option we have for a Center or PF is Shareef Abdur-Rahim. The magic would have to work out a deal to bring him here b/c of salary. We could send Garrity whose contract expires this season, but then again Shareef is a player that if I'm not mistaken is always hurt. Is he??? what do you all think?
