You guys still don't get it do you? The only reason why this team got those road victories early in the season is because other teams were still adjusting to their roster changes and the Magic got lucky.
So the Magic didn't have to do any adjusting to the addition of Van Gundy (after the whole Donovan fiasco) and his new system, the signing of Lewis and Foyle, and the loss of Milicic, Hill, and Battie? Orlando made offseason changes, the same as everyone else.

To Nore77: My answer to you is..."because I can and I like to ridicule people I love."

To NanningBob: Dear Bob, This is NOT down under! The proof of the Magic is the in the Playoffs. Of all the teams that make the playoffs, let's see which mediocre ones are OUT 1st...then get back to me.

To Jackson: No offense, but the truth is that the League is just about 80% black now. Very few players of that 80% have a degree and some barely a high school diploma. Thats called "Lack of Education." Your referring to the Old Days... If I remember my history Rich white guys bought and sold people. Now days rich white guys buy and sell players for al of our entertainment. Sorry to tell you this but the in professional sports things havn't changed much...just the amounts of Money!

No, it's not the playoffs. When it is all these teams are gonna be putting forth 100% effort 100% of the time. The Pistons showed a taste early on the other night. Then they just had fun. They spanked the Magic early and then cruised.

That is why the Magic won't get out of the first round with this lineup. You don't have to excel defensively at every position. You do need more than Dwight though. I say again, with this crew you have to play really good help defense where everyone knows when to rotate and exactly what their jobs are. Then comes the actual execution.

Lean a big body or two on Dwight, then just rush to the paint. Who is going to stop you? That's what I loved about Armstrong. That guy was fearless. Skiles, too. Both of them would anticipate and step in front. Neither of them were 'gifted athletes' and neither were big pgs. Both gave 100% on defense and caused opposing teams fits.

Game time, GO MAGIC!
