You call an incident of cramp, and stepping on an oppenents foot and turning your ankle 'Injury prone'?

The first one is often brought on by something as simple as dehydration, and causes no lasting damage other than (potentially) a little discomfort. The second one happens all the time in basketball, when players jump and come down on an uneven surface, i.e another player's foot.

Chances are that Lewis would have received a little treatment and returned to the Atl game had it been a competitive game, and with the sprain probably wouldn't have missed any time other than the remainder of the Bobcats game had it been the regular season. There is just no point risking actual injury if there is nothing on the line.

As long as he's healthy for opening night.
Preseason games are just another chance to get hurt.

We should have spent the cash on gerald wallace. Now hes someone worth around 60 million over 4 years. the other night he showed me a lot more defense and scoring than rashard ever did as a supersonic. Otis has put together a decent team but come next offseason we wont be able to afford any of our role players. I smell a stinker..........playoffs this year yes, next year NO

rashard is not a max deal kind of player, you do that for KG, Kobe, Kidd, Nash, but not rashard lewis a guy who cant defend and not even worth a crap. I love the magic and have been die hard since '89 but if your gonna do a max deal do it for someone who is worth it.

get a grip people, we have a good team and young, look at Miami now that's injury city.
Boston and Orlando are the most improved teams in the NBA.
Can we be better sure, but that applies to every team.

As a Sonics fan watching Rashard play his an entire NBA career in Seattle, I have some bad news...the Rashard you're seeing now is the same Rashard I've seen the last 7 seasons. The knock on him has always been that he's "soft" and can't/won't play defense.

The good news is...Rashard is an exciting, high-flying, high-scoring (albeit, somewhat streaky) player. He's an all-star when he's playing on a successful team and an all-star stub when he's playing on a mediocre team.

He's definitely not a max contract player though. Just be thankful its not your money and enjoy the show.

You MAYBE right...or Wrong...Lets talk about it after about 20games into the season. That is when we'll see real results from players and teams. If Rashard and Howard gives us at an avg of 20/10 each ....We should be a great team. We have great all around players adn Ariza/Jameer/dooling etc.....And even Reddick is player better. Max deal was necessary to grab him.
