Typical comments from the Magic GM. Otis Smith continues the Magic tradition of having weak GM. A person who has yet to demonstrate any real GM accomplishments. He might want to consider others' evaluation of talent as his has not proven to be anything but average at best in talent evaluation. Can you say Vasquez, Redick and Cook?

“When Jameer is right, he's our best point guard, period. Period”
Otis Smith you are … What kind of confidence you are showing to Arroyo? Why you can’t recognize that CA is playing better? Please your sign of nelson was stupid he is not a real PG and Arroyo is better. PERIOD.

That was a very unfortunate comment by Otis Smith at the wrong time. Let's hope Arroyo has another good game tomorrow, and we beat the Bulls.

It's not like Jameer played well
last yr. as well, when his father
was alive. And I feel for him for
his great loss, but his play has
hurt the team over the month. Not
only does he not create for others,
he turns it over, has not shot well,
& is a great liability on defense,
something that alot of people seem
to forget.(Other PG's have season highs against him) I hope he gets
his game back from 2 yrs ago. For
now,Arroyo is our best pg & we should start him.

I like Jameer Nelson as a person, but I never liked him as a player. Otis gambled on him like John Gabriel on Grant Hill. If JN gets well and returns as a starter, expect another losing streak for the Magic.

When you read something like that, you could think that there is something that we don't know about JN condition, or maybe OS is out of focus. For this gentlemen is hard to accept that one of his protege is no doing well. Also, is a clear massage to the coaching staff that as soon is healthy, he have to play, there is to much $$$ involve to bench this player. So hope for the best in next few games, because he will be back no matter how good CA, KD or anybody else is playing, because according to him and BS is the best PG period.

GM Otis Smith shows support to his job. He is afraid of loosing it.

The true is that Arroyo is playing better than Nelson at this moment.

Olso went nelson play well he is not better PG than Arroyo. Nelson is a good shooter but not a good PG.
