Um, I thought Dwight was a christian. A hypocrite christian (having a child out of wedlock) but still a chrisitan. What does this have to do with anything, btw?
Christians aren't perfect either. We still fall all the time. It's about grace, not works. Ephesians 2:8-9. He can't come out and say what he did was wrong though I'm sure because he doesn't want to make his son feel like he was a mistake. He knows that he messed up, but to say making his son was a mistake is just cruel.

With respect to the signing, Keyon was a phenominal guy for the team and community, but we need a legit back-up pg, not a combo guard. I never was quite comfortable with him running the offense.

How do you win with one PG?

First off Dooling was the 2nd best guard we had last year; better than arroyo; evans, J.J., or Bogans. Streaky and sometimes out of control but at least he took it to the other team as opposed to the other guards who sat behind the 3-point line until Howard created a miss-match. Obviously the Golden State guy is a much better 2g than Dooling, but Dooling can play the PG spot which this guy can't do.

I like Lee and I like Pietrus as non-ball demanding roll players much more than I liked Evans or Bogans last year. However, WE ONLY HAVE ONE POINT GUARD!!!!!

WTF are we gonna do with only one PG? I like Nelson, and if healthy, I think he can be a top 10 PG in this league, especially with the 4 other starters, but JESUS CHRIST, ONLY ONE POINT GUARD?.....No one is going to trade J.J. for a true PG....We HAVE ONE POINT GUARD....there's no way we can beat anyone next year in a 7 game series with 1 PG.

Maybe if the new SGs knock Rip Hamilton on his ass a few times before we lose to the Pistons then it will all be worth it.

It was only 2 years ago Devos said they were willing to go over the luxury tax to build a contending team.

Now that they have the areana....forget that.

No we'll have to take Otis's position. "I'm happy with what we got". Let the other teams get better. We'll just try to get something off the bottom of the barrel.

To not get Maggette, and let Dooling go....stupid!

Did you see the deal Magette got?! What makes you think the Magic could have gotten him. I wonder if anyone posted a comment this ridulous in the Spurs or Celtics forums.

I reserve judgement on the Magic on the luxury tax comment. I don't think they'd pay luxury tax to sign a backup guard, but they will have to go over the luxury tax to keep Turk after next season.

You are operating under the assumption that Otis is done dealing for the year. Patience....patience.

Also, remember, Turk brings it up the court a good part of the game as a Point Forward.

I'm not feeling the Jason Williams thing. I don't think it fits with the team chemistry. I am guessing they sign Kruger off the Summer League squad. 3 games, 26 mins, averaging almost 10 points and 7 assists. 9 for 9 at the line.

no one is perfect...he is still human at the end of the day. saul killed christians before becoming apostle paul and peter denied Christ himself and still went on to preach the gospel - not a hypocrite just a young guy who got caught up. that is what God's grace is for.
anyway, i really hate to see dooling go. i would rather see him stay, but i guess this is for the best. i wish him well if this is really it.
well your the only one who seems to get the concept of chritianity. now as for the dooling comment i feel unless we can get anthony carter we shouldresign him at all cost.

I hate to see Keyon go. Hopefully the Magic have some sort of trade in the works for a good pf and pg. If not we should still have a good season, but not good enough to get past boston or detroit. Hell, even if we do get a good pf and pg I dont think we get past boston. I personally think the big trade will come in Feb., I think the most that will happen this offseason is maybe the aqquistion of Jason Williams and a Bogans and possible JJ trade to get a vet. pf.,,,We'll see,,GO MAGIC!!
