"Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not the muscles,"

Excellent article - just what some of us have been trying to say, only stated better!!

Leadership - mental toughness and execution under pressure - these are the qualities we must display tonight otherwise we will be left with thoughts of how good this playoff run might have been!!

You're entitled to your opinion so please feel free to explain to the rest of us what it will take for the Magic to be successful tonight - I can't wait to read your insightful comments!!

Well tell Lewis to actually start hitting some 3's before he starts with the trash talking! Sorry Jameer, but the magic are not tough-guys. You (Lewis) can't be tough when you foul someone and they laugh at you! I'm not on the floor, but that's apparantly how other NBA players feel. Even our center is a laugh-and-grin-a-minute guy! But oh well, that's the kind of guy (young) Dwight is. I'm sure Otis has chided him a bit for this in the past and he has gotten better about it. We need to get a little game face and game attitude. Why do you think Mo gets the start? To sort of offset the pick-up game attitude we project to have when we get on the court. Tim Duncan might be looked upon as soft, but he has the same facial expression through the game...serious business, and none of that puppy-eyed smile when a foul gets called against you as you plea to the ref. You have to look as if it really WAS a bad call!

Finally, please Magic...don't forget about the sharp bounce pass; and moving without the ball instead of everyone parked at the 3 pt line with Dwight posting up 8 feet from the basket!

Have your fun now Piston fan, because your window is closing fast. It may not happen this year but its coming. Your guys are old. And even if they win this series they are winning it all so you will end up in the same place as everyone else. You should keep praying that the refs continue to help your aging team or they would get slaughtered by almost everyone.

I really don't get this whole idea that if the Magic lose, it'll be because the refs did them in. It's like you're anticipating a series loss, so you're getting the excuses ready. You need to have more confidence in your team.

Somewhere in the article I think I saw where it said Nelson needed to get tougher. I think Nelson is tough enough because he is always driving into the lane and getting the ball slapped down his throat. He always gets up and does it time after time and even slips a few baskets in. If any change needs to happen (and this won't happen) Nelson needs to get smarter!

HA...mike2315..your hilarious. I only WISH the refs helped out my Pistons so much. Its quite the opposite. Shoot, if a Piston farts too loud we get a call. You would think Orlando would start practicing free throws!! Might have a chance then~!

Those piston players look real tough with those face masks they all seem to play with.

actually, they wear those masks because of injuries that occurred due to...wait for it...playing tough basketball. by getting physical, they are susceptible to broken noses and other injuries...hence the masks. you are a team with essentially 4 guards in the starting lineup...its not rocket science, you are not able to play a physical style of basketball. as for our window closing, joe dumars has assembled a lot of young talent which will allow for a seamless transition.

Wait for it... That statement was a fact. I wasn't arguing the fact that they are a tought team. You'd have to be tough to live in that city.
