If you keep doing the same thing (nothing)... you will keep getting the same result.

It will be a shame to waste all of those expiring contracts. Besides the midlevel exception this will be probably be the last time we could make a big improvement to the team fow a while. And lets face it we need serious defenseive help.

I can't understand from been the starter and Magic winning 8-2 to the bench. Only took five bad minutes in the game with Nets to move him to the bench from starter. If he not good to play as a Magic, please trade CA to NY. NY has a big Latin community that for sure will buy tickets to see CA playing as we did in Orlando in the past.

In a bold move today before the 3:00 PM trading deadline, Orlando Magic GM Otis Smith resigned power forward Pat Garrity to a long term contract extension. Stating: "I'm extremely thrilled we could get this deal done. Pat is the cornerstone of this franchise and we are fortunate to have him."

Just why in the hell didnt we get Kurt Thomas? Spurs got him for basically nothing. Im tired of Otis Smith I dont think he gets this job. I want him gone, right after we get swept in the first round again.

You make a trade to for the best of the team adn if there is somethign interesting available out there. And it takes 2 teams to make a trade. Some teams are asking for too much adn its not worth to break this team up with unreasonable trade. We are not contending for a championship this year so we dont HAVE TO make a trade.
OTIS tried....for HASLEM and Kurt Thomas..they all wanted more than Magic could offer.
So chill out ppl...You have to do what makes sense and not for the sake of just doing it.
Enjoy this team...You have what you have and deal with it. We have a great young team this year with a lot of potential and still growing.
To add with Muuuuch BETTER record than we have had in the past.

Maybe he can't find because there are not decent trades opportunities right now for the players we really need.

Notice that I strongly believe that we need to make a trade for change our expiring contracts to something useful, but at the same time, I prefer to stay put if there are no trades that makes sense.

Do you remember the Ariza for Cook/Evans trade?
This seem pretty good right now, but the first day after that this site was full of haters...
Could you imagine the thousands of posts asking to fire him if he makes a bad trade?

Thomas was that missing piece and the Spurs got him for nothing. I'm tired of hearing were not going to mess with our main core and I'm not going to mess with the future of this team for a quick Fix. We should of damgled JJ in that trade. He is obviousley not in the Magic's plans, so why keep a disgruntled player on the bench when we could of gotten a true PF that could of took us to the next level this Year?

Wrong...not nothing...they expiring contracts...and picks...
Its not about messing with the core but we still have playoffs adn unfortunately our garbage was not too tempting for others to get. They all wanted more then we can offer. ie..JJ and draft picks...we need those picks...we cannot just give them away. Not for kurt thomas. He would help but worth it at a reasonable rate. We can still do more in teh offseason.
