Mark even you have to admit that Dwight and Hedo should have seen very limited action tonight.

Players often get hurt when they play and are thinking about possibility getting injured.

That is why I think Dwight is not being overly aggressive mixing it up inside right now. He is probably fearful of twisting a k n e e or an ankle. And I can't say that I blame him. After all these last few games are basically meaningless. Who cares about 60 wins ? Right now a healthy team should be top priority heading into the playoffs.

Well, now we get to see what kind of team we are without Turk. Perfect chance to determine how much he is worth before commiting big bucks to him. As long as he is back by the 2nd Round.

See, it's all perspective.:-)

First and most important Detroit loss and Bulls win puts Detroit out of a first or second match up with Orlando.

Second I rather see this slump now than during the playoffs.

SVG should only play the bench for the last 2 games let the starters get some rest and sharpen up the bench for the playoffs.

We do not need another core player getting hurt.

and last please Jimbo cool it man I supported your return but if you insist in being and A S S I will have no choice but to join the lynch mob

Mike personally I think this will be a good thing for the Magic to be without Turk for a little while. It will force them to have to bring a lot of focus and intensity, especially on defense. They need a bit of a wakeup call now anyway.

One thing the Magic are is resilient. I will give them that. Just when you think it's time to pack it in they buckle down and go out there and get it done.

I'm ok with playing our starters in the first half of the next two games and giving them the 2nd half off. Rest them up. The regular season is over IMO.

Bobby I am merely pointing out that the Magic could be better off without Turk. And to you that is acting like an a s s ?

The defensive intensity will return without Turk. It will wind up being a blessing in disguise. Just relax man. Everything will turn out ok. Just be positive here.

I agree. And if SVG had taken that approach tonight then Turkoglu would not have been injured.

How about the Magic sign Hardaway, Hill, and T-Mac to play in these last couple of games ? What are the chances of these dudes getting injured ?

Folks I hate to say it but this sure enough looks like a first round playoff exit in the making.
Turkoglu is probably going to miss some playoff games. Lewis is hurting. And quite frankly Howard is unable to carry the team by himself. Atleast not yet anyway.
If Turk had to be helped off the court that does not look good at all. That is probably a severe sprain which will require atleast 10 days to 2 weeks of inactivity. He will probably miss 2 or 3 first round playoff games.
Didnt even read the article? Did you ignorant bastard.

I think it was Drew Gooden who once missed a game because of an ingrown hair on his leg

Yes I remember that. That is the only time I have ever heard of such a thing in relation to sports.

I'm tossing out the rest of the regular season. The Magic truly are one of the 4 best teams in the league. The regular season is over. Time for the playoffs.
The Magic will cruise through the first round.
When the Magic lose in the first round of the playoffs, I hope you are one of the first people on line in front of Amway when I personally bitch slap every Tragic Fans one by one..

The Magic seem to be preparing their fans for a first round exit. Maybe they're tired from playing the long NBA season and want to start vacationing. The only thing consistent about the Magic over the last 20 years is that they have always been mental cases who don't know the meaning of consistency.

This is garbage time no doubt... thankfully Turk is ok.=)

I have every bit of faith that we'll be ok come playoff time.
