I believe the Iverson deserved better from the Sixers organization. But these are the times we are living in--no loyalty. Very few people are loyal these days, including the so called "fans". You "haters" of Iverson now were probably on the band wagon during the championship contest. Gone are the days when people are with you through thick and thin. You haters, stay away--we don't need or want you!

Respect? This is a guy who disregarded following rules for 10 years. This is a guy, when Mo Cheeks was hired, said, "If you can't along with Mo Cheeks, there's something wrong with you."
Well, A.I. something is very, very wrong with you. You don't respect others and never accept blame. He was 10 of 24 shooting last night in Denver's loss. He said it is nice to be playing on a winning team. Denver is 2-4 with him. The Sixers are 3-3 without him. |

"Denver is 2-4 with him. The Sixers are 3-3 without him"
Denver is missing some of their key players. And yes Iverson was a spoiled brat. But his work on the court cant be forgotten. Everytime the ball was tipped he hustled and worked hard. They should have controlled his spoiled behaviour from the beginning. but now a days athletes are spoiled. But Mo cheeks has had his run ins with many others on the team. Iverson gave a lot of great moments and memories to teh sixers. he was a true warrior. Yes he had his flaws but Sixers management need some new direction. Just getting hired guns or scorers wasnt enough. They needed to build a team. it was getting there but the coach didnt fit this team. Ai and AI ver 2. were a good combo, with many other good fits. i blame cheeks style and strategy. Not always the coaches fault but in this it was. Andre miller is a good PG not great and you will see how he just disappears. |
