Can't be too hard on the Knicks they played hard and had a chance to win, other team just made a great shot. The few bonehead plays that they made down the stretch were due to youthful indescretions. Hopefully they learn from this and can turn it around at home. They need a little rest, but they'll be back on track soon. These games were encouraging because they played well in all of them and now only have adjust a little at the end to win these games. Winning will then beget winning.

Oh the negative side Isiah is not putting in Collins to spell Nate and Craw. Running the offense takes a lot of energy and they need a break. I don't think Jones has the same multitalented skills as Collins and is not a point guard. Put in Collins for 10 to 15 Isiah and you will have found the key to winning these close games.

I agree. And if they play this hard and competitive all season long, I'm fine with it. I'll take the draft pick. Just wish we would have tried for Gasol. Seems like Isiah dropped the ball. They wanted expiring contracts. Hello? Marbury has a HUGE expiring contract.

The youth showed in this road trip. But that will change. By the end of the season, they should be winning some of the games. I hope!

"We've had some good moments. We could easily be sitting here having just lost one game." Only Isiah could spin an 0-5 trip into 4-1. Fortuntately for him, he's got Jimmy the Dunce for a boss and Jimmy works for daddy. One incompetent who reports to an even bigger incompetent with the ultimate in job security. Add to that the fact that MSG has a monopoly, and this is a forumula for a losing dynasty. Fans should either NOT SHOW UP (I gave up my season tickets because of this mess) or show up and chant to the rafters "DOLAN S*CKS" every chance they get. Can't hurt because nothing else is working. But sometimes you wonder if Little Jimmy is beyond embarrassment.

They played the Blazers and Sonics, two very young teams and lost. Youth with no direction/good caoching leads to bad veteran players with experience losing. Isiah needs to go.

Can't fault the players on this trip despite the 0-5 record. It's hard for any team to win playing 4 games in 5 nights, as evidenced by Detroit's blowout loss to the Knicks in the Garden under the same circumstances last week. The fact that the Knicks came within one point of Seattle with a depleted roster is commendable. That said, this remains the highest paid team in the league that has mortgaged its future with long term contracts and owing yet another unprotected first round pick in 2010. All this for a team with no all-stars, not even foreseeable all-stars, and a roster that might be capable of an eighth place seed in the playoffs if everything went right. This is gross mismanagement that will take many years to overcome.

Lets keep things in perspective here. Seatle is 11-35, they are actually worse then the Knicks. There should not be one once of satisfaction in losing to this team by one point.

I can't even try to understand what the hell they are doing anymore. The other night Crawford misses 8 shots in a row and Randolph is strong inside so what do they do - keep on giving it to Crawford to blow a 6 pt lead in 2 mins and lose in OT. Then last night Robinson is 0 for 8 and they're down by 1 so they let Robinson - again the coldest shooter all night shoot a 3 pt shot even though they needed 2 to win. Great strategy - find the player who can't hit the side of a house and let him blow the game for you. I will always remain a Knick fan but they have to be the most disgusting team in the history of New York Sports. They make me sick to my stomach. Everyone has to stop going to the games if you want it to change - as long as they keep making money they will always suck.

The Knicks, at 14-32, should not be expected to beat an 11-35 team on its home court while playing their fourth game in five nights on the road, with an OT game the night before. The schedule worked in the Knicks' favor last week as they beat far superior teams (Detroit and Washington) at MSG, each playing their fourth game in five nights. The players can't be faulted for their effort last night. Management can be faulted for the overall record and assembling this group of players.

LOL. All those fans going on about how the effort was good, give credit to the other team, the Knicks were competitive sounds like you've all been drinking Isiah's kool aid. As someone else pointed out, the Sonics are even worse than the Knicks (how is that even possible?) well at least recordwise they are worse. I totally called them going 0 for this road trip. I hope they never win another game all season than at least maybe Isiah will be fired.

Amen! This team is an ill conceived group of overpaid, underachieving losers. Unlike others, I'm NOT fine with effort without wins. They have the highest payroll in the league and one of the worst teams. They don't play defense, they don't pass, they are not a team. They are 5 one-on-one players on the court, and not particularly good ones at that. No passing, no defense. The only saving grace this year is that they actually own their own first round draft pick. This team is going nowhere for years to come. Loser team, loser coach/GM, loser owner.

I couldn't agree with you more. I will always be a Knicks fan, however, I have giving up on this regime. It is horrific to watch the Knicks play. No defense or intent to play defense. Supid shot after stupid shot (Crawford the main culprit). No leadership, and no PRIDE!!!! Please Mr. Stern do something!!!!
