The Heat will be extremely lucky to win 25 games this year.

This whole thing could be a tactic to obtain a lottery pick next year. This is the same strategy that netted Wade to the Heat in 2003. There may be some good prospects next year.

When you have a 20 million dollar stiff at Center and only one player with any real talent (Wade) its no surprise that they are getting toasted regularly. Pat, you underestimated the talent level of this team and unless you spend some cruise money to make up for the big stiff this season is going to get real disappointing quick. It is not only energy thats missing, its lack of talent. Games like last night make it very evident.

What tactic? Be embarrassed the whole season and disappoint the paying public especially those who pay big bucks then you say they lose just to obtain a lottery pick next year. Have you heard of the word DIGNITY. Shame on you!

Riley...oh..Riley....What's up with you? Forget the offense. But how can you hope to win with Wade, Williams, and Hardaway out on the perimeter playing no defense? Riley...oh...Riley....don't kid yourself. Williams had that shooting going while losing by 27 points and that is what he is good for. He will do that once in every 10 games...so..let him do that when you are losing by 20 points. He cannot run the offense and he cannot play defense. Riley....oh...Riley...Quinn of course is not the answer...but at least he is going to try to play defense and also not run up and down recklessly which is counterproductive to Shaq centered offense. Riley...oh...Riley...how can you have Hardaway out there? For what? For points, rebounds, or defense? Dorrell can at least develop to be a rebounder and defender...and he is only 21 years old and 6 feet 9. What are you doing Riley...If Wright isn't your guy..find a guy....otherwise, play Wright until you find that guy. Is hardaway your guy? For what? Oh, Riley...Before wade came in, they at least lost by less than 5 points...now they are being blown out of the gate...and have been down by 20 points in many games even before half time. Riley...oh...Riley.....Shaq got 3 touches of the rock on last two games in the second half...Oh..Riley...oh..Riley.. ..that Posey looks good as hell doesn't he? Kapono just scored 23 points the other night...Oh, Riley...oh Riley....What about Jones?...Oh...RIley...oh...Ril ey...why do you have to change the roster completely every year and start with no chemistry every year instead of just adding key pieces? How do you explain not even attempting to sign Posey and Jones and going after guys like Parker and Hardaway....Oh..Riley...no perimeter defense whatsoever..and Shaq has to pay the price by going out on a limb and fouling them...Oh..Riley...oh...Riley. ..Defense would at least keep the game close...but you now have williams, wades, davis running around like a chicken with its head cut off...and losing games like they did when they played for Sacramento, Minnesota, Boston, and Memphis. You have brought losers....At least Davis can be benched...but WIlliams...what the hell is he doing running the club? If you let him have his way...he will run this club down to Sacramento and Memphis. Oh, Riley...oh...Riley...What the hell are you doing? Wade is turnover prone and not a good defensive player...he is good for that clutch moments. You cannot have other defensive liabilites like Williams and hardaway on the floor with him...Oh...Riley...oh Riley...it seems like you do not have a coaching philosophy anymore and just going on your whims. You should not start WIlliams...and Hardaway should be an insurance, the 13th player. Oh...Riley...oh Riley....

To much talk (excuses) for the Heat Team. With the exceptiom of Ricky Davis the whole team are having a Defense vacation. If they don't react now I vote to trade the majority of the team, including Wade.

Did you hear the audio pickup from last night...Denver fans laughing and jeering the Heat during the game. After a lengthy interview with ex-inaugural Heat, Scott Hastings, I began to think that team would've schooled the Heat last night. The Heat are at a rock bottom, clueless level at this point. Shaq is shot. Zo is better at this advanced age. Wish I had a dollar everytime Wade leaves his feet to make a pass. He came back too soon. Hope there was a medical reason he delayed his surgery last spring because he's not the same. Can't believe Riley put Penny on Melo. Shows to me Riley is shot. There are just too many problems with this so-called team.
One big one pending is that Wade will go elsewhere ala Garnett if Riley doesn't turn this around in two years. How can he? With Shaq and his ridiculous game and salary...the Heat's ship may just sink.

Yeah. And I think the Heat is making every team in the NBA happy right now. They could always be assured of those precious wins if they need it. It's so generous you know. And a lottery pick is just the right compensation. And that will be the time when the team will become solid. Cook will mature and other players will be traded to get the right ones while some will not be resigned I guess. The team right now is like an engine with the wrong parts. It alweays choked along the way. So, looking towards the future is just about right.

um, what talent does wade have really? his defense is a joke, he cant shoot past 15ft, his ft% is 60%, he tries to do much fancy plays and cause turnovers, he whines for every call, i could go on and on. i used to be the biggest wade fan, but im mature enough to know hes not a superstar and hes just a really fast player, thats it. oh yea, and a really good actor.

Heat announcer says "the Nuggets are trying to dunk everything". Riley strategically inserts Penny to guard Carmelo. Denver courtside fans literally falling over themselves in laughter.

Looking like a winless road trip folks !

...on the wall. Shaq needs to look into it...and restructure his contract. Heat need legit third option (plus other meaningful parts)or Wade will leave in two years.

The Heat need to start passing the ball inside to Shaq a lot more. It's no coincidence that the Heat have had massive leads put up on them the last two games with Shaq (should still be getting at least 13-14 FGA per game) getting just 7 shot attempts in each of the last two games. Wade's playing an invidual game like he always does and the rest are just jacking up pure rubbish. I know he's the future but Riley really needs to pull Wade and these clowns into line.
