the frightening thing about all this is that utah is without a true center. imagine what happens if that big lug returns. a 22 rebounds for a 6-9 is sickining when you consider the lakers are with two 7 footers and a power forward of 6-10. i'm scared to death the lakers might not come out of the first round winners.

The Lakers had greater success when Ariza or Bryant was guarding Deron Williams. Why not cut off the head of the Jazz' offense and the rest of the team will be paralized or at least slowed down? Then, when the Lakers move faster down the court and run a little more "without the ball" in their offense, the Jazz cannot keep up with them.

utah went after the lakers weakness gasol. gasol is a great offensive player but he can't play "d" or does not want to. boozer abuse him in game 3 and utah will go after him tonight. bynum needs to stay out of foul trouble the lakers a way better defensive team when he's on the floor

Gasol is not a bad defender, he just doesn't have the body to keep up with Boozer

Odom starting is a good move for many reasons...I hope Bynum comes off the bench, it's better that way.

What a waste! That guy played in past 2 years a handful of games and is being paid
$50m+ a year! I'd love a job like that and bet everyone as well. He'll never earn his
wages the honest way - get rid of him. For that kind of $$$ you can get whole team!

paul i agree with you. bynum will never be a star. he's adopted the mindset of o'neal. he wants to be the captain of the team.

I ain't trying to hear your Bynum predictions. Just because your ship is sinking don't be looking for no Laker lifeboat anytime soon. Go Dr. Jerry Buss!!

Not unless they could get some talent for him. I say sit him behind Odom. Odom's way more effective.
