I'm impressed with your mastery of the English language. What's this crap about racism? If a guy's not performing, bench him. People are always so quick to play the racism card! Stupid!

Mike, I agree that racism is not the issue, the issue is lack of confidence from both Arroyo and Coach Hill. Orlando is platooning too many guards and Carlos is now a casualty of the NBA shuffle. Two games ago Carlos had 5 assists and 10 points in 22 minutes comparable to Jameer's 23 points and 4 assists in 41 minutes in last night"s drumming of the Magic.

I know what I am saying about the racism, have you ever go to the arena? I guess no, everytime Arroyo is in the court, the hispanics of course sheers, but, what the others said? they talk crap about him, and immediately call Nelson's name. The coaching staff sucks, we all know that, this is not new, but is this the kind of support that he deserves?, I am not blind, Carlos is not performing well, Jamee either , but he still playing. you see the difference? no, you will never see that. because you are STUPID like the rest of this country, you guys hate hispanics but LOVE the european. Bahhh

Yes, I have to agree. Today's basketball is an Afro-European game, Latinos play baseball and that's all. It seems there's a ceiling in basketball frachises. However, things change as time goes on. Back in EIsenhower's day and I was a high school b-ball snot, b-ball was a white man's game. The players wore runner's shorts instead of mid-calf kilts. Now "white men can't jump." Someday, that will all turn around again. It's a game, it'll be fun to see what happens as time goes on some more.

Quit blaming everything on racism, if the audience doesnt believe a player will do well than they should call him out.

Its that Travis Diener hasn't have a chance to play much so he should get some playing time, maybe he will get better or not... but he still should get a chance like Carlos did.

An Open Letter to Carlos Arroyo:
Many off your fans blame your benching on Racism and Bigotry (Racism and bigotry do exist at different levels throughout the U.S. and has been regularly used as a political tool first by the Southern Democrats and since Nixon by the Republicans), but that is not your problem. They also complain that your performance in the court is measured by a different yardstick than others in your team that may be true as a result of your problem but is also not your main problem.
Your main problem lays on the intense dislike Mr. Colangelo and the groups he represents at USA Basketball management level have for you. Mr.Colangelo has expressed not his dislike but his outright hate for you trough the NBA grapevine and around the halls of the elite management circles of the NBA not as an organized conspiracy but trough off the record casual conversations with other members and reporter. He has indirectly let it be known that if those associated with the NBA (the Owners, Managers, Coaches, Referees, Reporters, TV& Radio Commentators etc. etc.) want to be on their good side they better not allow you to succeed in this league.

You may ask why? Well the reason is very simple, you are in their eyes the personification of their failure to bring USA basketball back to the top of World Cup Basketball and Olympic basketball. Mr. Colangelo with his silver spoon in his mouth, blew a lot of hot air lobbying to be appointed to his current USA Basketball position and in their eye you have made the achievement of their goals very difficult since Shock and Awe does not work anymore they find themselves having to work harder than they ever expected and they do not appreciate hard work especially when they are the one that have to do it. Remember this are the same people that around their Country Club circles consider phrases like “Poverty is a necessary evil” as words of wisdom. Mr Colangelo with his silver spoon in his mouth does not want the people to know that the Emperor has no clothed.
You see before the Athens Olympics USA Basketball could count on an image of invincibility, they were seen as the giants of the sport. But in that 1st game of the Athens Olympics a team from a nation of less than 4 million people blew away the team of giant and the rest of the world realized that the USA Team were no real giant but that they only looked like giants because the rest of the world had been playing psychologically on their knees. To quote Vlade Divacs (playing at the time for Yugoslavia) words to his team that night after the game “You see, that’s what happens when you play without fear”.
Anyone who saw that game (download available for free at Ares Galaxy P2 to P2 service) could see that Carlos had a great game but the deciding factor in the victory was the game plan and its execution especially the inside out combination between the PF and the Center and the excellent 3 point shooting of the SG. The P.R. Coach and his staff should have been the ones credited for the victory.
But Colangelo and his follower could never accept that the USA Team had been out planned, outmaneuvered and outplayed not only by the PR players but their coaching and management staff. So they have picked you Carlos to vent their anger against and that means that you have a target on your back. That you will not be allowed to succeed in the NBA and be traded from team to team until you no longer have any value. Anybody wanting to further their career in the NBA will be happy to take a cheap shoots against you.

Continuation of an Open Letter to Carlos Arroyo:
In conclusion my suggestion for you is to go play in the Euro League. There you will be able to live and play without having to constantly look behind your back; you will also be paid in Euros with a very favorable exchange rate. Fran Vazquez is no fool by staying in Spain with the exchange rate as it is and continues to trend, the money paid there is comparable to what he would receive in the NBA and he does not have to take any grief from the arrogant and petty people running the NBA.
Don’t worry about playing in the best basketball league in the world because you will be playing in it. The NBA might be the best paid basketball show in the world but is only third rate in the quality of basketball being played. Mr. Colangelo knows this and that is why in his petty mind he chooses to pick on you to vent his anger.

Had to throw out the race card didn't you? Oh well, I agree that Diener and Jameer aren't getting the job done. Quite frankly if there is a quality point guard out there that the Magic can acquire quick fast and in a hurry like I would trade all 3 of of our point guards if that price was right and use Dooling as his backup. Point guard play sucks right now. All of them are inconsistant and race plays no part in that, that's reality.

im just not understanding the Magic right now...the coaching is horrible...why no J.J. Redick? it is a lie when Hill says he doesnt want to mess up the rotation? What rotation? The magic are on a slump after what looked like a promising season..Hill needs to get his lazy a$$ off the bench and do some coaching...I do believe Arroyo should be playing more DWIGHT COME ON?? FREE THROWS THOSE ARE COSTING THE MAGIC EVERY NIGHT!!...and the Magic need a go to guy..perhaps making a trade for hometown Vince Carter??

Dude if we got Vince, Ray Allen or Pau Gasol I would buy tickets for the rest of the season. I just don't see us getting a star like that because Otis just will not give up Hill and he doesn't want to mess up chemistry, but I haven' seen much chemistry these last few weeks. And I am a big fan of Hill for what he does and stands for but if you can get a guy of Ray Allen's caliber to score you have to pull a deal and sign Hill back in the offseason...
