Looking back on Jose Calderon's time in Toronto, you can't help but be impressed and a little bit surprised that he would be in the position he now finds himself.

I'm not surprised Jose is where he is at. Even though his first season was not a breakout one, I could see his potential when he did play, especially his ability to "see the floor" and his great passing. In his second year he upped his shotmaking and in his third raised his game another level with even better shotmaking and a league-leading assist to turnover ratio. He did not get as many chances to play the first 2 years as he did the 3rd, so when he did get to play so many games last year, he was able to show what he could do, night in and night out. Also, he is a great competitor as well as being a gracious and team-spirited young man.
