Hey guys I hate to break it to you but Calderon is a restricted free agent which means the raptors can (and will) match any offer sheet signed by Calderon. He will not be in a magic uniform next season.
Even though I'm a raptors fan I gotta think the magic are gonna spank the raptors tonight. No Bosh totally wipes out our pick and roll that was so unstoppable in the last matchup, our offense is not good at all without Bosh. Although we are due for a bounce back game after ugly losses to pacers and bobcats.

Nelson can't be trade for Calderon, since the 35 million extension contract error made by Otis. If Nelson its trade for Calderon some magic players should go with him with some money also.
Who wants to trade Nelson on their NBA Fantasy Team?
Calderon is a free agent this summer. No need to trade, just sign him.

The only way the Magic can fall out of the 3rd seed is if they fall out of the Southern Division lead. Unless that rule has changed, division winners get the top seeds. With an 8.5 game lead over Washington, the Magic would REALLY have to collapse to lose it. Not to mention they have a fairly sizeable lead over Toronto in the W-L column.

The Magics no need Calderon they need a PF position. Trade Nelson, Battie and Evans for Marion or Wilcox. Waive Augustin, Garrity and Gortat or trade for other(s)
player(s).
Signs Guillermo Diaz
(In NBDL average approximately 18 points by game or more, was the best anotador of the Anaheim and was the best anotador in Miama NCAA, measures 6'2 but it is a dunker of first class).

Startes

PG - Carlos Arroyo
SG - Rashad Lawis
SF - Hedo Turkuglo
PF - Marion or Wilcox
C - Dwight Howard

Bench

K. Dooling (pg,sg)
Guillermo Diaz (sg)
J.J. Redick (sg,pg)
K. Bogans (sf,sg)
B. Cook (pf)
A. Foyle (c)
(and another Center)

Christopher Gonzalez all of your posts about trade this and that are worthless. The rules have changed since the trading deadline passed.
1. every coach in the League has to agree to a trade.
2. Any player traded after the trade deadline can not be used in the playoffs.
So all of your talking about trading for this or that is totally mute and off topic.
This topic is about the seeding for the playoffs. And as of now the Magic have basicly sewup their 3 seed because they are the leader of the Southeast Division by a huge lead. The Cavs could end up with a better record then the Magic, but that would not change their seedings since they are in a different division.
Just check what team is where in the Western Conference and see who is seeded where and then check out their records and you will see the difference between at large to divisional leaders.
