Farmar agrees to 3-year deal with Nets

Jordan Farmar and the New Jersey Nets agreed on a three-year contract worth $12 million, the team announced Sunday night.

Jordan FarmEr said he wanted to leave the Lakers ONLY to be a starter somewhere in the NBA, which I can understand!
BUT!!!!
Leaving a championship team to be a "back up" for an "inferior team" makes no sense! FarmEr obviously burned his bridges in LA prior to this move.
Hope he enjoys losing!

12 Million for four yrs, plus the Lakers didn't want him what was he going to do Sparky???

Jordan got what he wanted, more money and more playing time. In 4 years with the Lakers he won 2 NBA Championships. If he blew his knee out and was never able to play again, he has had a great career. Players like Charles Barkley and Carl Malone played 15 years and never won an NBA Championship.

More playing time? Yes!

Farmar did not know if he was going to be the first, second or third guard off the Lakers bench. Jackson was not willing to commit to regular playing time for Farmar. Now Farmar knows he's the back-up point guard and will get an opportunity to be a starting point guard in three years if he does well.

Sounded to me farmer needed to be that starter ASAP.
Sounded like he was done being a back up. I mean wasnt that he was crying about all last year with the Lakers?

Lets face it he will be a decent back up for jersey, but it's highly unlikely he will ever be that go to guy starter he thinks he can be.

Within 3 years the Nets will draft a hot shot kid out of college or make a big time trade, and there will go farmar's shot.

Jordan hope you get used to losing, it's gonna happen allot in jersey.
