Jordan, Robinson, Stockton among 5 elected to Hall

It was only a matter of time, and now Michael Jordan is in the Hall of Fame. Jordan was elected to the class of 2009 Monday with David Robinson , John Stockton , Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan and Rutgers women's coach C. Vivian Stringer.

he won the race by 36 points, so the 71 was just the icing on the scoring title cake.

This is as big a no brainer as electing the Meters into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Oh, wait, The Meters are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But Metallica and Run DMC are. That's like Rodman and John Salley getting in, but Jordan not.

Congradulations Mr. Jordan, Chicago is very proud of you putting our name in a positive light. Don't get to cozzy with daley though you'll only get caught up and theres no need for that a this stage of life.

I think its worth mentiong that Jerry Sloan is the guy who didn't want all that flashy play by Jordan. That was a career ending decision in CHI but glad to see he did OK with his career and ZERO RINGS.

An obvious, but well-deserved and timely, tribute to Mssr Jordan.

As good as Jordan was, he is well recognized by the caliber of those who are inducted with him. ALL are excellent inductees.
