Let Williams go. Boston wants him, and the Magic wants him. Who cares about the sad Heat. Posey and JWILL together. Another Championship for the Celtics. Doesn't matter who goes to the Heat. Wade will be running the team anyway. Missing the playoffs again.

Like Wade took over the playoffs in '06 when Boston was watching the playoffs from their living rooms? Get out of here, Boston? Where've you been the last decade? Buy one Championship and feel as though you have the right to talk smack. You guys aren't so young and aren't too far away from being in the Heat's position. Enjoy the view from the top for now, doesn't last long with an aging roster.

Okay, here's the deal ...IF Riley is going to stick to opening up all his cap on the 2010 season then it makes NO sense for him to let R. Davis or J.Will go (unless they are unwilling to sign for a 2 year deal).

...because they are much more talented than what you can get for the minimum and its going to be very difficult to get guys to come here when they know they can't get anything more than a 2 year contract.

As such, resign both of them and then use the mid level and lle to bring in role players, and trade Marion for a good center that only has 2 years left on his contract.

The solution is this:
-sign C. Duhon'
-sign-in-trade Marion to Golden State for Petrius and Andris Biedrins
-trade Haslem b/c we dont need someone with contract on the bench

The sense of this all is that we need to be looking at getting rid of Haslem. Bringing in Brand and Magette will advance us to the top for years to come. Wade,pg, Brand, Beasley and Marion. Then we have Magette, Wright, Cook, Colymers, and Morning.
Who do you think will be there in the end for years to come?

Totally agree with Pietrus & Biedrins.
Trade Udonis+Davis+JWill for E Brand - Clips need a pg & will take udonis definitly.
Banks did a solid job in his 2?, 3? games with the heat - he is able to spell d-fence and hit the open jumper.

There is a possibility for:
C Biedrins, Zo
F Brand, Beasley, Wright, Pietrus
SG Wade, Quinn
P Baron, Banks
plus anthony, barron (pat will sign him), cook & whomever.

Brown is a bust. I like Dooling, but I'd feel better with Doleac.

Is there any chance the heat will get any good player in the FA's in 2010? Every team out there is saving cap space for some big name and there are only like 3 that will leave. James, Stoudamire, and Anthony. Wade and Bosh will be staying with their respective teams.

The people that keep talking about trading Marion are out of their mind. He is one of the most versatile players in the NBA. Of course, he has an unorthodox style of shooting the ball, but the Heat needs to keep Marion to see how Wade and him play together for at least one full season. Riley keeps trading our picks away which leaves us with no depth on the bench. That is why the team imploded last year because all we had were players from the D-league after all the injuries to starters. The team needs to start developing more young players from the Draft and stop overpaying for worthless veterans (Blount, Smush, J-Will, Ricky). We finally had an amazing Draft and need to build from this especially since the NBA has a Salary Cap. Boston Celts did it the right way with a mixture of Superstars, (KG, Pierce, Allen), Youth (Rondo, Perkins), and Ex-Heat Veterans (House, Posey, P.J.).
