any who. i think d wade is right. he does not need to play point guard full time. i'm not sure if i even trust that's he's capable of doing so. he's always tops in the league when it comes to turnovers and he has this annoying propensity to force passes. so while folks are b**ching and moaning about his willingness to play the point you would be the same ones b**tching when and if he went out and turned the ball over twelve times (which he has done). don't get me wrong i think he can be a great facilitator in spurts just not a whole game for a whole nba season.

they do need another playmaker though. regardless if you were to move him to point or not. besides if you move wade to the point then all of a sudden you would have this gaping hole a sg. and h3ll no daequan is not a starter not by any stretch. and i don't think wright is much better.

shaqs gone and so is the heat. i said it when they traded him you heat fans are the worst, you have a good player in wade but you had a champion in shaq and let it go so that= no more championships any time soon. even with shaqs age if the suns would have played defence they could have won it all the suns seen they needed shaq to do it so why would heat let someone like that go?i think it was the fans fault for bashing shaq every chance they got and he wanted to leave.

genius- you summed up my thoughts exactly. i like Wade but the ball shouldnt be in his hands all the time in the 4th quater. it worked in the finals but since then its been killing fourth quater team chemistry. We play like a team for 3 quaters and remain in games then play selfish the fourth quater and lose? does that make sence? every getting involved means everyone is excited and energetic on both ends of the floor. There are probably tons of easy plays to be had if the Heat become more openminded at the ends of games.

Hence the need for a combo guard or a shooting guard next to Wade that can bring the ball up every now and then and create his own shot. A pure point would not be needed here and his talents would be wasted

Shaq rap should have had your name in place of Kobe's. shaq is done and Phoenix lost because he couldn't do anything. Grow up and put away your Shaq jersey; there is a reason that he has played for 4 teams. He has always been a pain in the a$$ but now he can't play anymore. At least he is still making over $20 mil per.

Wade cannot be the team. Heat won 9 straight end of 06 without Wade and never looked better, but when the playoff was secured Shaq and others got lazy again. Wade returned for playoffs, tried to be superman, and Riley foolishly let him, it killed the whole chemistry and we got swept in 4. Wake up Heat fans, high t.o.'s are death and Dw is the culprit. He needs to be a super role player: "SLASHER" in a team concept. He should NOT be allowed to dribble around all night on top of the key, or even in 4th qtr.
better yet TRADE him now while we can get great players for him.

Wade sadi the 3 position too for Beasley.

What is up with th is guy? First i hear he's 6'10, then he's 6'7, then he's a post-up 20/10 guy then i hear hes more of a perimeter player

he's a power forward, then he's a small forward

is he a lowpost presence or not? will he be a lowpost option in the nba, a 20/10 on 50% field goals NBA power forward?

Or is he Melo/glenn robinson/adrian dantley/bernard king/whatever 2.0???

* are you talking about. detroit? washington? new jersey **** if you really want to go back the hornets? as a rookie? ring a bell. he was no one series wonder kid. until recently he was probably one of the most reliable players in the clutch. after the championship 06-07 while the rest of the team vacationed most games he went out and played hard every night routinely winning games on his own. don't discredit what the man was before his injuries. he may not be it now but don't have revisionist history and try to diminish what he's accomplished.

absolutely right,

and next year he'll be even better than before his injuies

It was money time the last 2 seasons for DWade. He wanted the ball in his hands late in the game. Quess what I watched all them you played in.YOU STUNK OUT THE COURT . BLOWING the 17 games. With your 5 - 6 turnovers a game and missing last second shots. The one thing you did DWade you led the NBA for 3 straight years in turnovers. Looking for your 4th coming this fall on the Sunshine network. You should never play the point. EVER.
