Wade's right we do need a true point guard and I think that would be the answer cuz Jason Williams barely shoots the ball and make plays he just cant get into the rythym.......

Shaq has taught him well. Get all the Money, grab all the Glory, duck all the Leadership. Then you can snipe at your teammates when you lose, and point fingers AWAY from yourself. The love affair is over. he thinks he is going to China to collect a Gold Medal for...basketball..HA! No way a choose up NBA Team wins that event. A REAL National team will win.

Wade was awesome at the point - I was hoping he'd be willing to play the point again (which would allow the Heat to put Cook or Wright at SG while filing up one of the two glaring holes on this team).
Did Magic give Riley headaches about where he wanted to play?
Wade's one of those rare combo guards that can excel at either guard spot.
All being said, I'd rather the team had Banks-Chalmers-Richardson battle it out for the position and focus instead on spending the FA cash on height.

Wade, you want the ball in your hands
at the end of games? So everyone knows
what's coming and can sag and steal and we lose and lose? c'mon. enough.
it worked for one series against a team that choked and refs that called everything in your favor (Mavs). it hasn't worked since. Real teamwork wins games, a meshing of talents.

Genius...thank you for saying that. The only recollection I have of last year (before we tanked) is Wade dribbling the ball around, looking for his own shot while his teammates stood around watching. Movement is key and if one guy dominates the ball, guys begin to stand still.

Also, if you pay careful attention when Wade plays point, watch to see where he delivers the ball. His skills at PG are lacking...despite his winning the skills competition. We need a real PG. J Will was once that guy....just think age and injuries have taken their toll.

Wade said, "When it's money time," he said, "I'm playing point guard. I need the ball." And it is true....but what decent point guard would want to come here and hear that. And Wade was making all kinds of bad decisions and plays when it's money time....the last couple years. So if he wants to be like mike during money time...he has to step it up...and get a patsy for a point guard like Paxon or Kerr who would gladly give the ball up because they could not do anything for any other team anyway.

I wish his game was as big as his EGO! Wade is a very good average ball player that had a great run in the championship year but come on, get over it!

Buckeye, don't blame Shaq. Wade is a grown man. What he is saying is how he really feels. What Wade needs to do is work on his mid range and 3 point shot cause all teams do is let him shoot the jumpers. And he needs to work on beating the trap because last year he struggled when he faced a defense which trapped him. Quit with the Shaq blaming he is gone and if Wade really wants to lead this squad he has to step up and be a leader even if it means playing the point till the young guards mature.

wade's ego has surpassed his game. he has so much to say now. let's move him while his value is still high. another year of injuries and camera mugging will be too late. what a difference a couple of years makes.

We should trade Wade for a good point guard and I think many people will be supprised! We could WIN!

The problem is, there are NO very good PGs out there -- either by trade, or otherwise. Who would take that is reasonably available? Hinrich (huge 5 year contract); Marbury (Ugh.); Ridnour (decidedly average)... either Conley or Lowry are fairly unknown quantities -- and what would Memphis want from us in exchange? Monta Ellis wants big big money that we don't have. Keyon Dooling is an energy player, he is a pretty good defender, but not a table-setter. Arroyo is an inconsistent, underachiever.

I want to see who is on Wade's "wish list"

It never ceases to amaze me that when this young man carried this sham of a team to a championship you all could'nt get enough of him now he says what everyone knows is true, and now he's the devil on two legs.Riley and shaq as well as others went for the ride and riley did the most insane thing in giving shaq more money and it was wade who called out shaq last year, not to mention the fact that this man came back year before last to try to make a run at another championship and played hurt all last year and you people want to copmplain about him get a life.

I guess you are either high on drugs or you have brought into riley's crap, go ahead and try it remember last year? I gaurantee you you all won't like the outcome. All the man is really trying to say is you need more than him as talanted players in the backcourt.

wtf are you talking about. detroit? washington? new jersey? shit if you really want to go back the hornets? as a rookie? ring a bell. he was no one series wonder kid. until recently he was probably one of the most reliable players in the clutch. after the championship 06-07 while the rest of the team vacationed most games he went out and played hard every night routinely winning games on his own. don't discredit what the man was before his injuries. he may not be it now but don't have revisionist history and try to diminish what he's accomplished.
