As a means of getting MArion and Beasley into the starting lineup?

WTF is that supposed to mean?

Listen Udonis, youre a good 1st big off the bench and a below-average starter at PF.

I dont want to be a dick or nothing, but there is no way in hell that youre starting at either forward spot when we have an allstar and DPOY candidate in one of the few 20/10 guys in this league in Shawn Marion at Small Forward. And a potential 20/10 guy from day 1 in 6'8" monster power forward Michael Beasley, a kid who just had the best freshman season in NCAA history and is the best/most highly touted PF prospect to come out of the draft since Elton Brand, he is the starting Power Forward and our 2nd offensive option and first inside option as our lowpost scorer from day 1.

Udonis can come off the bench or start at center, but there is no way in hell that he gets either of those spots. He just isnt on Marion or Beasleys level as a player.

Not a really good center, but who else out there? Zo is probably one of the best centers in the league and look at his age. The age of the dominant center is over, Shaq and Zo are remnants of that time. The best centers in the league right now are Dwight Howard, Amare Stoudemire, and... who? 6'9 Carlos Boozer? The Heat's starting center this year will be Udonis Haslem boys and girls.

don't get worked up pro or con re Magloire. he's just a body on the bench for insurance and spot duty.
the answer is for Blount to play better d this year. if he can't, anthony/haslem will get more time. if they can't, Magloire will get more time.
Zo is the Xfactor. he may or may not
come back close to the guy he was before he got hurt and aged another year. so don't count on him and just be thrilled if he can come back and make a difference

Exactly, except Haslem would be a great, not a good, big off the bench.

The great thing about having Marion is he can guard all five positions, and can let beasley take the weak assignment.

Unless Chalmers really develops, the point spot is much more of a problem.

I am very disappointed. I thought that we would wait to see what we can get via trade especially by the trade deadline with teams like New Jersey, Clippers, and Portland that is loaded with capable or better centers than what we have at this moment. I think that Magloir is a desperation move, and can be very costly unless they plan to trade or release him later, or maybe they plan on trading blunt for some better peaces soon cause I totally disagree with this selection to the team.

I don't believe the Point is a problem. I think that we need to give these guys a chance. M.Williams, and CP3 would not be the leagues top PG if they were not given the chance and the confident to go out and lead the team. Lets wait to the trade deadline before judging Banks, Chalmers, and Quinn whom i believe will be our three man rotation at the point. If we can get Shaun Livingston from the Clip's real cheap then that would be worth it, especially if he comes back injury free and has a chip in his cholder.

i think its a pretty good move
he used to be an allstar and he fucked up last season and so did the heat
they all startin new and so hopefully he step up this year
its not like he can run wit the lineup anyway wit mario, wade, marion, and beasley

and i think chalmers is gonna be pretty good, he locked up the over rated 1st pick (derrick rose)
if the heat use magloire effectively like how new orleans did, then they will be ok
he was really good on the pick n rolls in new orleans
eitherway, the heat finna be in the playoffs cus d wade is back
